Really enjoyed our stay
Pros:

Great location, 5 mins walk to the cathedral and numerous eating spots. Staff very welcoming and accomodating. Easy free car parking. Lovely room.

Cons:

Very old and historic house, therefore no lift. We will pack a smaller bag to take up next time - and there will be a next time.

I really enjoyed my stay. The location was excellent, the rooms were generous in size, very comfortable and made up beautifully each day. The gardens were lovely and breakfast was generous, very good and excellent value.
The staff were exceptional - warm, friendly and genuinely helpful. Ice, the manager, was lovely and made me feel very welcome, and Gloria, the hotel dog, was an absolute delight.
I also really enjoyed having a glass of wine at the hotel before heading out for dinner. The wine selection was modest but perfectly adequate, and it was just a lovely way to start the evening.

Cons:

There was really very little I didn’t like. If I had to mention anything, the water pressure in the shower dropped significantly in the mornings and at times was almost non-existent.
Also, on a couple of occasions staff entered my room while I was there without knocking first, which I found a little unusual. Neither issue detracted significantly from what was otherwise a really enjoyable stay.

Enjoyed Bayeux
Pros:

Location was great. Very clean and comfortable, ple ty of parking.

Cons:

It was not hot while we were there but i did not see airconditioning. Only a fan that could be plugged in.

Liked our stay here very much.
Pros:

Large comfortable room, bed, and bathroom. We were upgraded due to a cancellation. Staff was friendly and spoke English. We stayed on the 1st floor as requested to avoid lugging suitcases upstairs, however there are a dozen stairs before you enter the hotel. Well preserved and authentic historical hotel. There was plenty of parking in the back of the building. Could use a little TLC in some minor areas, but overall clean and comfortable place to stay. The dining rooms were lovely.

Cons:

The building had a stale odor due to its age. But it was not bad odor due to dampness or spoilage.
