Poor quality toilet paper, bed was slightly too firm, tv not a smart tv
There was a lot of noise early morning by the bottle bins being emptied as it was a warm night our window was open.
The cooked brunch was very good.
No cereals available.
Sauces a jams only available on request.
unfortunately we didn't stay long enough to really make use of the food, functions and surroundings. we just slept and left early the next morning.. I would definitely return however as the surrounding moors looked ideal to walk through and the view was amazing+

We have been coming to this hotel for three years now and standards aren't the same as they were when we first visited. It is tired looking in parts.
The attention to detail wasn't there. Although our room was clean, the blind in the bathroom.was very dusty when I tried to open the window.

changed our room from one at the top of the hotel to Room No. 1, as my partner has mobility issues - lovely room - light and with a large en suite. Unfortunately we both found the bed rather more firm than was comfortable but as we just had two nights here, could forgo a bit of comfort for the amazing location. Across the road from the Cow and Calf rocks and some lovely walks with decent tracks through the heather. Fabulous views from the top, across Ilkley and surrounding countryside.
Breakfasts were good as were the evening meals although there was a bit of a wait each time. Not a great problem as we weren't in any hurry and the food was good.
Slightly quicker service at mealtimes - and maybe a slightly softer bed!

Excellent accommodation. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Restaurant provides very delicious food at reasonable prices. Also has a well stocked bar area. Staff very professional, helpful and friendly. Hotel is set in the most picturesque location opposite the Cow and Calf rocks. Views are tremendous.
Nothing was disliked during my stay, but perhaps people who find stairs difficult may be advised to avoid rooms on the top floor.
The room was fine -the member of staff came up to the room and showed me how the blind for the skylight worked as it was not obvious. The location is lovely - parking is free.

Really nit-picking…nothing to dislike, but better coffee in the rooms would score a 10/10. We’d definitely visit again but take our own coffee (we do like our morning coffee)! :)

We were in one of the smaller rooms so didn't have a view sadly. The wifi didn't work and we were missing a toilet brush :) otherwise had a lovely stay
I love this Hotel, every time I come to Ilkley, this is where I stay. The location for me is just perfect, the staff are very attentive and the ambience is just right. Food is good and reasonably priced and the log fires in the winter very welcoming.
I would have liked the selection of teas in the room to include some peppermint or fruit teas but that is probably just me being picky.
