Quirky but OK
Pros:

The Wookey Hole Inn is nothing if not quirky. For example, both our en suite and wardrobe were more or less semi-circular protrusions into the room and the entrance to the shower was a keyhole in a wall within the en suite. However, despite some physical deficiencies (see below), our stay was enjoyable, with a notably comfortable bed, a powerful shower and the best wifi of our 3 week trip, not to mention that the people who run the place were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

The property is old and in need of updating. It is, for example, still single glazed and the internal walls allow too much sound transmission. We understand that the 'tatty' stairs carpet is due for renewal shortly but the shower in our room needs re-tiling and there were absolutely no shelves or hooks in our en suite. The bedroom lighting could also have been better and the bed, though extremely comfortable to lie in, is equally uncomfortable to sit up in.

Very enjoyable.
Pros:

Lovely place to stay while visiting the caves at Wookey Hole. We had a nice greeting and shown to a very nice, large, comfortable room. The food was excellent. Private car park.

Cons:

Don't be put off by the shabby stair carpets.

Not the normal stop over, quite Magical!
Pros:

The locational is very pretty and magical. The rooms where also charming, with some great creative decor. We enjoyed our stop over and time in the pub garden, thank you

Cons:

Kept on bumping into the glass table top tv stand at night when I went to the loo, as you cant see it clearly, and its quite a sharp knock! Maybe its just me being Mr Bump! The choice of fragrance in rooms is very different to the normal, quite over powering. Couldn't see how to turn radiator off in room, not needed on a hot summer evening. Spent 10 minutes battling with a coat hanger to locate the bath pug that I eventually found behind the bath tub (gorgeous vintage style bath, so was worth the effort!)

Lovely 😍
Pros:

The location to the venue was brilliant.

Cons:

The room was lovely but the blind didnt fit the window, so let all the light in the room. Maybe a curtain or better fitting blind

Excellent, comfortable, exceptionally clean.
Pros:

Beautiful old inn. Lovely surroundings, and a garden to sit and have a drink.
Car park for guests.
Rooms were huge and spotlessly clean.
Richard and his staff were so
welcoming and friendly and nothing
was too much trouble.
We shall certainly be returning for a longer stay and would certainly recommend.

Cons:

Nothing!
