Really good fab staff always will go the extra mile pool staff beach staff bar staff reception exceptional
Staff fantastic, unexpected complimentaries in our room such as champagne and sandwiches on our very late arrival. Beautiful view from our room. Food in the restaurants was high quality and reasonably priced….the tapas set menu in the Greek taverna was huge and enough for 4 people instead of 2. Pool area was excellent. Great hotel!
Whilst in Lindos, it wasn’t really as it was a few kms away. There was no ability to walk there as the highway didn’t have a pavement so the only option is a 20 euro taxi round trip. If the hotel laid on a shuttle that would be perfect but they didn’t.
we loved the breakfast - excellent every day.
We did struggle with dinners - with the one restaurant being fine dining and the other one a 50 Euro a head option. We wanted to have a few nights where we didn't go out and found that the bar menu, while delicious, had only 4 options.
It would have been lovely if the pool bar/ restaurant had stayed open later. We did not want fine dining but understand that some people like that on holiday!
I had the best massage I have ever had. The lady is South African/ Greek ( I forgot her name, sorry). truly an mazing experience.
The stuff is helpful, welcoming .
2 pools, clean beautiful beach with sunbeds.
Amazing breakfast.
3 restaurants
The food in the restaurants (not the main one) was a little limited, not a big selection of possibilities, also for vegetarian or vegan 1 or 2 options. And the portions were small.
Clean rooms. Suitable with kids holiday
Reservation requirement for the dinner ala carte restaurants should be asked during check in time
Location, facilities, quality of food, spa treatments, beach, everything was as expected.
Alles bestens.. sehr nettes Personal
Alles perfekt
Very good location. Easy access to Lindos. Excellent swimming pools. Very pleasant restaurants.
Could be difficult for people with mobility problems. Lots of stairs with limited handrails.
The staff in all areas of the resort were friendly and helpful. The variety at breakfast was great and the omlette was the best omlettes we ever had. Bar service was exceptional as too was the maid service. The room we booked meant we had daily pool towels delivered to our room and occasionally we had a bottle of wine. We were given a fresh bottle of water daily which was a nice little extra too.
Our room was net reception and I thought I was working out on a stairmaster getting from the pool to the room but once we found the lift it was so much easier.
It wasn’t that I didn’t like it, but there wasn’t much around the hotel. Couple of restaurants down by the beach ( excellent with great staff too) but then a taxi in to lindos if we wanted a change. Excellent taxi service as well🤣
This isn’t a hotel for people with limited mobility as there are lots of stairs. There are lifts too but you still have stairs to get from the hotel to beach.
Everything was perfect the staff the location the property all was outstanding
Nothing everything was perfect
We had a room with access to a shared pool. Room is so good 10/10 and the pool is perfect, wouldn’t choose anything other than this
I liked everything about this hotel, it’s the best hotel I have ever stayed in
There wasn’t anything I didn’t like, I liked it all
The hotel had its charm. Being on the beach but having an incredible view at the same time was quite special. The whole journey of getting to the beach was unusual in the beginning but we got used to it and our children loved it, running from elevator to elevator. The common areas are quite nice to hang out at. Hotel food was okay, staff was excellent- super polite and very professional. Everything was spotlessly clean. Very family friendly hotel, good if you want to avoid those huge family complex hotels.
Be aware that the property is dated. Its not what you expect from a fancy five star hotel. Due to the situation on the mountain every room is different. We had booked a suite and in the beginning they gave us a horrendous room for the first night. It felt more like a cave, tiny, no windows, small bathroom, furniture completely worn and destroyed. We complained and they said that our room category was only available next day. Dont know wether it’s a scheme. We got a lovely room in the end and they invited us for one dinner. Probably they got off cheaper than paying the night but we didn’t want to ruin our holiday and mentally closed the issue. If you are a design lover it’s also not really the place to be. The towel policy was also strange. There was only one place to get beach towels, in the center of the hotel. If you forgot your towels on the beach you had to go all the way up again together them. Why not have a towel service on the beach? Besides that the quality of the towels and site were not what you d expect from a five star hotel.
