We wanted to stay here as it is a traditional old inn.
Pros:

The staff were all fabulous and couldn’t do enough for us.

Cons:

Pros:

Service was beyond expectations, evening meals were plentiful and extremely good, room adequate our hosts were friendly, professional and knowledgeable giving insight into the local area and certainly went out of their way to make our visit the best it could be.

Pros:

The pub location was excellent the mid-day staff who did the meat and great were excellent 👍🏽 but the night time return to location staff were offensive 😕 very sadly we will not be returning the night staff did not do anything positive to support there daytime colleagues

Pros:

Nice old pub.Pretty comfortable room.

Cons:

Bit noisy and creaky when people move at night. No toiletries. £100 for room with no breakfast included was not good value for money.

Great location, a lovely listed building, could do with some improvements
Pros:

Accommodation is directly above a pub, which is a listed building, full of character. Location is great, 5 min walk to the castle and shops but in a quiet part of Ludlow.
The stuff in the pub is very friendly.

Cons:

The mattress was way too soft so didn’t get a good night sleep. Luckily we were there fur 2 nights only.
Access to accommodation is through the pub so need to make sure you’re there before the pub closes.
The was no shower gel in the room and no hairdryer. But there was tea and coffee facility.

Cons:

We booked for bed and breakfast. When we booked in they said it's for room only . I questioned about it and showed my booking form. No! We're fully booked. When questioned about it they said their dad who is the chef he's in and out of hospital. Asked if we could have a table for dinner . No! We're fully booked. The room were very small, broken bed one of the drawers wouldn't go in completely so you knocked your leg everytime you go by. Quilt was too small for the bed furniture that's not needed it was just cluttered, very basic bathroom , the fan didn't work in the bathroom. No little extra nice things, like small bottles of toiletries .Broken biscuits on the coffee tray no tea. No glasses for water. Not worth £95 per night

Cons:

We had been it contact with the Wheatsheaf with reference to dietary requirements and arrival times (9.00pm), which they acknowledge. However, when we arrived at 9.00pm, we were told there was no kitchen staff, therefore no breakfast, and they would knock £20 off the bill. Why was this not communicated before we arrived, and given the option to cancel?

Convenient and pleasant, would return again.
Pros:

Very friendly and charming pub accommodation. San Miguel on tap foir the win too!

Cons:

Basic facilities and a little dated but more than enough for what we needed.

Fantastic stay
Pros:

Comfortable bedroom size and bed itself. Lovely staff who actually take time to sit and talk to you about the area and general chit chat. Home cooked food was also lovely and just what you need after a busy day.
