From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Please note that the accommodations house rules do not permit:
- Smoking and consumption of alcohol within the premise
- Bringing explosive and flammable materials, e.g. weapons and chemicals.
- Bringing strong smelling food such as durian, Mangosteen etc.
- Bringing pets into the premise.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Slippery floor. Could consider to provide floor mat especially in front of the bathroom door
- Pleasant serai smell all over the hotel.
- The corridor and lobby were cold during hot weather.
- Buggy service was available when needed.
- Drinking water was provided.
- The road to parking was small and difficult to access. The parking was uncovered. The staff should have asked us to unload the luggage before going to parking.
- The room was not clean thoroughly. Can see some leftover hairs on floor and dust on bedsheets...
- The breakfast...was disappointing, very limited choice, choosing 1 out of 4, tasted not good too. It's fine to not having breakfast buffet but they didn't even serve ice under such hot weather. Reason given us is...no ice.
- Cash deposit was needed! Strongly suggest they consider using credit card to collect deposit.
- TV was not functioning...
- Some amenities in bathroom was not refilled.
Smells of lemongrass is calming
Our room had poor cleanliness. The toilet smells.
Coffee machine was not working. There was no welcome drinks as advertised and salt bath. Probably for influencers only. Breakfast starts at 8am. The cafe was closed.

I had a pleasant stay at Sojourn Spa Malala Hotel and overall enjoyed the experience. The hotel was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was also generally clean and suitable for a relaxing stay.
One area that could be improved is the bathroom design. After taking a shower, water tends to spread across the entire bathroom floor, including the area around the toilet bowl. This makes the floor very wet and can be inconvenient and potentially slippery.
The room is clean and the breakfast is delicious even is ala carte order. Love the spa service.
The parking have to park behind which is inconvenient to go out at night
The staff were welcoming and helpful from check-in to checkout. Fast Wi-Fi and a great breakfast made it even better. Perfect for anyone looking for a reliable, comfortable place to stay in Melaka. Highly recommend!"
La Chambre et la salle de bain de bon goût. De l'eau est à disposition.
Aucune possibilité de s'allonger au bord de la minuscule piscine. Juste une table et 4 chaises.
Le restaurant était en cours d'aménagements.
Le petit déjeuner n'est pas un buffet mais vous avez 4 choix plutôt tristes. Le café était très mauvais, prenez le plutôtdans la cafetière de la Chambre.
