Really great view and nice breakfast. Close nature bath!
Pros:

Perfect location and view. Close to Mývatn Nature Baths which was amazing.

Cons:

The Sauna on property is not up to modern standards but the view balcony was great.
The breakfast could be more lavish for the cost.

Superb stay highly recommend
Pros:

Parking easy, beds very comfortable, good room size, bathroom shower all good. Restaurant food very good recommend eating in and breakfast amongst the best we experienced in our Tour of Iceland

If you can afford it, good choice in the area, with nice views. Bring head cover for the flies.
Pros:

Hotel is somewhat elevated, restaurant has an exceptional view over the Lake, Vulcanic Craters to the west, and Thermal fields further to the west, and the whole restaurant wall is a giant window onto these fields.

Other than that, accommodations and breakfast offerings were in line with what one would expect in this high price range.

Cons:

- Well.. I know hotels in Iceland are expensive, but I still don't have to be happy about it.
- In the hotel communications, the hotel should warn the guests about the thousand midgets (little flies) that guests will encounter once they reach the hotel parking lot. Lake Myvatn literally means Lake of Midges. The head nets are highly recommended, get them before coming to Iceland, or you can buy them from the larger gas stations.

Pros:

Comfortable rooms, great views, attractive design, great location for the interesting Myvatn area. Restaurant and bar were good, staff very capable and welcoming.

Cons:

Friends had a lot of luggage -- porter help or directions for where to find luggage carts would have been appreciated.
