Pros:

O hotel é bonito e tem imenso potencial.

Cons:

Dois dos quartos tinham problemas com eletricidade, sendo que reclamamos de um e foi mudado para outro em que a limpeza não estava muito bem feita. Ainda havia cabelos no lavatório. Apenas um dos funcionários foi simpático, não me recordo o nome e temos pena de não o termos revisto. A rapariga da recepção é altamente antipática. As raparigas que estavam no pequeno almoço passaram mais tempo ao telemóvel que a cuidar da sala. No regresso ninguém nos soube dizer sobre a possibilidade de o golfcar levar as nossas malas de volta. Uma pena, porque uma vez mais, o hotel é bonito e tem imenso potencial.

The view from the room

This is one of the most depressing hotels I have been. The staff seemed very unhappy working here, were minimally responsive, and always had a smartphone in one hand, checking whatever. The coffee from the breakfast machine was horrible; I skipped it, and the OJ was diluted at least 5 times. There was hardly anyone at reception, and when occupied the woman was minimally responsive, more engaged with her iPhone, and certainly not welcoming when we arrived. We had the room cleaned, but this was really not more than changing towels and straightening bed linen. Coffee and tea were not replaced. The TV was useless, only local programs. There is NO parking in the village, and parking is really difficult, so we ended up on the road above the village.

When booking a hotel, we don’t expect luxury. We expect a warm room, a clean bed, and professional staff who can deal with problems when they arise. Unfortunately, our three-night stay at Vila Perast fell far below these basic expectations. What happened on our final night was particularly unacceptable.

1. No Heating and No Proper Solution

On the day we checked in, the air conditioning system was not providing heating. We reported the problem to the staff, but no effective solution was offered. Since we were cold, we asked for an extra blanket. Surprisingly, the hotel could not provide one immediately. The staff eventually had to check several other rooms before finding a blanket for us.

A hotel that cannot properly heat its rooms or provide an extra blanket when needed is already failing to meet basic guest expectations.

2. A Disappointing Breakfast That Got Worse Every Day

When making our reservation, we were led to expect a good breakfast. Unfortunately, the reality was very different.

On the first day, we were served a plate containing an omelette, tomatoes, cucumber, olives, and butter. On the second day, the olives were missing. When we asked about them, we were told they had run out. On the third day, the butter was missing too, and once again, we were told it had run out.

It is difficult to understand how a hotel can repeatedly run out of such basic breakfast items during a guest’s three-night stay. Rather than maintaining a consistent standard, the breakfast seemed to get worse each day.

I will include a photograph of the breakfast served so that prospective guests can judge the situation for themselves.

3. The Final Night: Water Pouring Through the Ceiling at 1 AM

The worst part of our stay happened on the final night.

At around 1:00 AM, water suddenly started dripping from the ceiling of our room.

Romantiškas laikas su gera kompanija nuostabioje vietoje

Buvome apsistoję aštuoniese- 4 šeimos. Tai nedidelis viešbutis miestelio centre, prie pat vandens, labai graži autentiška aplinka, ypač gražu vakare, kai miestelio gatvės ištuštėja nuo dieninių turistų, tu pajunti jo dvasią, ryte bažnyčios varpai kviečia į rytines mišias, pašte gali išsiųsti atvirutę namiškiams. Nors buvome apsistoję tik dvi paras, tačiau pastebėjome daug jaunavedžių renkasi šį viešbutį atšvęsti savo vestuves, jie turi ceremonijai skirtą vietą tai viešbučio restoranėlis prie pat vandens, mes keliautojai smalsuoliai visą tai stebėjome gyvai, o tai praturtino ir mūsų kelionės įspūdžius nes tai buvo be galo gražu, jautru ir linksma, kai nuotakos su baltomis suknelėmis vaikščiojo tais pačiais koridoriais kaip ir mes. Viešbutis labai tvarkingas, pusryčiai geri, kava bet kuriuo paros metu nemokama, pasidarai iš aparato pats, personalas puikus, visada paklausia ar ko nors netrūksta, tik patys geriausi, ir šilčiausi atsiliepimai bei linkėjimai iš Lietuvos, ačiū už viešnagę.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel. The staff were unfriendly upon arrival and seemed more interested in eating their fish than checking us in. The room was very small but generally clean, apart from the bathroom ventilation, which looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since ages. The breakfast was practically inedible, and the coffee came from an ordinary automatic machine. You better take the crossaint-Option. Overall, a very disappointing experience. We strongly advise against booking this hotel.

The location is super nice.
Be aware that you have to walk from the parking spot.

Ok stay at great location in waterfront boutique hotel
Pros:

The location on the waterfront of Perast was great, and most staff were friendly. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast looked great (I saw it just as it was being set out but missed eating it due to an early taxi journey).

Cons:

The check in staff member was pretty brusque/rushed. The attic room was basic. It included a single bed under a skylight window, which was held open with a coat hanger, as well as a queen bed on the other side of the space.

Room was a bit run down (only one shutter in the window, some damp/mould in the shower etc) and could have been cleaner. Ran out of two thirds of the breakfast options near the end of service.
