Good location, plenty of parking, with a pleasant quiet garden and within easy walking distance of Dedham.
Majority of staff were friendly and helpful.
Food in the Orangery was very good.
On one night when the restaurant was busy, in spite of booking I had to wait another 30 minutes to get anywhere to sit. Aggravated by what I deduce was an over zealous, almost panicky restaurant manager, which made the dining experience unpleasant.

Lovely location. Good parking. Garden and outside areas delightful. Comfortable room. Excellent housekeeping. Restaurant - two tier overlooking garden with quiet tables. Food and service was good.

Nothing to dislike
We enjoyed our overnight stay at Milsoms. The room was comfortable, the staff friendly and the food good.
Its a very average hotel but the grounds were beautiful.
My room was on the ground floor so very noisy and the hotel as a whole is a bit tacky and could do with some modernising. There was so much perspex! The outdoor furniture is plastic which doesnt do the outside of the building justice.
Das Hotel war sehr schön eingerichtet und das Frühstück war gut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Suaberkeit in den Zimmern lässt leider zu wünschen übrig. Das ist schade, da wir sonst mit dem Hotel, Einrichtung, Gartenanlage, Personal, Lage, sehr zufreiden waren.

The breakfast was good with plenty of variety and choice, fresh fruit, bread, yoghurt. it was serve yourself with a hot food section but the scrambled eggs were slushy and not cooked enough, bacon was good but needed to be drained more of fat. additional menu items were available to order but at additional cost
The room was smaller than average, no where to place your cases or clothes with very limited hanging space. Bathroom had a good size shower, plenty of hot water at a good pressure. The toilet seat was loose and no means to tighten it to the pan, this was reported to reception.
