It could have been a very pleasant stay but..
Pros:

The staff was very nice. There was plenty of room available for our family and everything was clean.

Cons:

During the summer the rooms got unpleasantly hot. Unfortunately, opening the windows was not an option. Reason: People (the staff?) were smoking outside the building all evening and the smoke entered our rooms making it difficult to find rest, especially for our toddler. Also, there was some confusion regarding payment. We were informed by booking that our credit card would be charged. Upon arrival there was information by the hotel that a prepayment was expected. This conflicting information that led to a back and forth in messages that gave the otherwise pleasant stay a sour aftertaste. I guess all of this could have been handled via dialogue but the hotel manager was not present during our stay..so the only option for me is to rate our stay according to our personal experience (according to booking 5 = fair)

Pros:

Ein absolut traumhafter Aufenthalt! Schon der Check-in war dank der vorherigen Absprache unglaublich einfach und stressfrei. Man merkt sofort, mit wie viel Herzblut hier gearbeitet wird. Die Mitarbeiter sind außergewöhnlich freundlich, herzlich und aufmerksam – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Das Frühstück war schlichtweg perfekt: mit viel Liebe zubereitet, abwechslungsreich und von bester Qualität. Auch die Bezahlung im Hotel verlief völlig unkompliziert. Das Zimmer war makellos sauber, wunderschön und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das Bett war ein Traum – selten so bequem geschlafen! Wer eine Unterkunft mit besonderem Charme, herzlicher Gastfreundschaft und einem rundum gelungenen Wohlfühlambiente sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und können die Residenz Villa Kult uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Es war ein außergewöhnlicher Kurzurlaub in einem mit viel Herz geführten Hotel. Alles war ganz großartig, wir haben uns unendlich wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war da Highlight eines jeden Tages. Und die lauen Sommernächte auf dem Balkon zu verbringen war himmlisch. Ein Kleinod mitten in der großen Stadt. Danke für Alles.

Ein schönes, reizvolles Hotel, das sich allerdings öffnen sollte für die Standards der Kreditkarten.
Pros:

Frühstück wurde nach individuellen Wünschen zusammengestellt.

Ruhige Lage inmitten von Berlin

Cons:

Die Angaben von Booking Com zur Zahlweise (Unterkunft akzeptiert Kreditkarten) und die Zahlungsmodalitäten des Hotels stimmen nicht überein. Das Hotel lehnt strikt Kreditkarten ab und verweist auf folgende Zahlungsformen: a) Barzahlung und b) Echtzeitüberweisung während des Aufenthalts.

unusual quirky gem
Pros:

Very nice quirky decor. Big room. Loved my four poster bed and the little cake-biscuits in my room on arrival!
Interesting art and furniture. Amazing peaceful breakfast with great service. I felt very well looked after. Lovely morning run along riverbank park.

Cons:

Payment was very difficult and poorly communicated - by cash or bank transfer only, and there didn't appear to be an easy way to change your breakfast options or time after the first morning.

Villa Kult ist Genuss pur
Pros:

Die Villa Kult liegt ruhig in einem grossen, parkähnlichen Garten mit altem Baumbestand und üppigen Pflanzen. Die Villa ist vom Eingang bis unters Dach sehr geschmackvoll, individuell mit tollen Bildern, Möbeln, Kunstgegenständen eingerichtet.... für mich ein wahrer Genuss!

Pros:

Eine wirklich schöne Villa. Das Zimmer war gross und entsprechend Beschreibung afrikanisch eingerichtet. Einzug das Bett war ein neueres und kein viktorianisches wie beschrieben. Aber das Bett war bequem zum schlafen.
Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam.

Cons:

In der letzten Nacht, bzw. am letzten Abend und über Nacht, war der Parkplatz als ich ankam bereits voll und eigentlich keinerlei Platz mehr um dort zu parken. Allerdings mit der Besitzerin telefoniert und eine Lösung gefunden. Etwas schwierig weil halt extra das Hotelbunter anderem wegen Parkplatz vorhanden ausgesucht. Aber dann auch hilfsbereit, um eine Lösung zu finden.

Wunderschöne Stadtvilla mit vielen Kunstobjekten
Pros:

Eine wunderschöne alte Stadtvilla mit viel Charme und vielen Kunstwerken (Bilder und Skulpturen) die man sogar kaufen konnte.
Das Frühstück vom Personal nach Wunsch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet.
Definitiv zu empfehlen die Villa!
