some broken part in the bathroom could be fixed. Continental breakfast was kind of OK; it could have been richer, e.g., with more vegetables or fruit.
The room is some 170 cm wide, so tiny that there is no room for the suitcase or any other belonging. The internal furniture is designed to serve as much as it can; still, it is a bit poor
Location was great as walking distance to Goodge St underground. Manager was welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast was more than adequate. Facilities were all clean.
My single room and shower was tiny and hot!! Thank goodness they supplied a fan without having to ask for one but they made good use of the space considering the limitations. There was no one at the desk on check out. Directions to breakfast was not clear and it took some time for me to find someone who could help.

Check in was very easy , had a lovely warm welcome from the receptionist. Room was large and airy had a lovely comfortable stay. Breakfast was nice. All staff very accommodating

Far too hot in room, window wouldn't stay open on it's own so I had to hold it open with the bin. Everything was quite clean but a bit old and worn.
Excellent location and spacious, bright room. We appreciated the clean and up to date bathroom and daily tea and towel services. We would definitely stay again!
Hotel is quaint and quirky. Breakfast was good. Rooms small but that was expected. Getting to the rooms was a bit dicey with luggage as we were downstairs. Room was clean, falling apart and in disrepair with drywall tape and mud on the ceiling and wall. That should be fixed as it gets on peoples clothes. The showers had good warm water but the shower head was crappy and it was difficult to rinse off everything. That would be a useful upgrade.

Arrived to drop our bag before check in, note on the door to go to the neighboring hotel for reception. Spoke to the receptionist, who we followed to the end of the hallway to store our bag in an open area that anyone with access to the hotel could easily walk up to. No tag was placed or receipt given, just told to come back after 3pm to collect the room key.
We returned after a while, walked straight through and got our bag, no questions asked. They advised about our room and breakfast. We were told to exit the hotel, and go next door where the key would let us in.
The room was basic, clean enough, with essentials provided. The hotel is an old building, decor is tired and it can be noisy. It was a warm night, we had to close the windows due to noise outside. Breakfast was continental, and ok as included. No staff spoke to us, we arrived and waited for a table to clear before getting some filter coffee and toast. Check out was online, and the key left at reception.
