I booked this place because I was going to attend an event. I called the number provided IN THIS WEBSITE BEFORE and AFTER making a booking, making sure that there would be no additional fees when my HMUA arrives the next day. I did my due diligence, noting on a security deposit, making sure and double checking everything. I even requested a vanity and a chair to be placed and inquired first if there will be additional charges.
Upon arrival, the receptionist tells me that they were not given a heads up, and I have to pay another Php 5,000 for my HMUA! This was NOT mentioned when I called. The receptionist called a higher up, saying my predicament and the staff isn't really helpful in this situation and just gives me "it is what it is" feeling. I told them that I called the number provided in my booking and they tell me that they were just a franchise and they're not receiving anything? It's not my fault that their logistics are terrible because I did my part but they still insist on me paying the Php 1,000. It was a good thing I was the only one the HMUA will do the make up and I still have to pay Php 1,000. Because I was tired from work and just want to rest, I just paid it.
There were no soap and shampoo. The aircon was noisy.
Overall, if this is how RedDoorz operates with their terrible logistics, I will not stay in any of their branches from now on. This branch (or franchise, whatever) has been running for five years and they still have this issue? Definitely not recommended.
The staff were nice and friendly, check-in/out was easy
The rooms aren't exactly how they look in the pictures. The walls are dirty and scuffed everywhere. There was water damage on the bathroom ceiling, which is turning into mold. There were dead bugs all over the floor. As well as live bugs all over the bed and the floor
