Super!
Pros:

Great staff, excellent food (breakfast options were fantastic), lots of character & excellent value. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wedding plans adjusted at last minute causing additional stress.
Pros:

The manager was lovely and tried to help the situation by phoning local hotels in the area to find rooms for us.

Cons:

We arrived at the hotel just after 3pm to check in. We were informed upon arrival that our booking had been cancelled. I did enquire about the cancellation of my booking in November but heard nothing back and had no confirmation about my enquiry. My booking.com account has shown the booking as active through the entire process and as far as I was concerned, the booking was still live. This resulted in us having to find another accommodation on the day at additional cost. The manager stated that he was refunding our payment, but it still has not arrived.

Pros:

The room wasn't big, but it's well put together, thoughtfully designed and has everything we needed. And it felt cute. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great choices for breakfast and all delicious.

Was idea for a couple of nights.
Pros:

Cons:

Wooden floor in our room was extremely creaky, not good at night if you get up.
Quite a long wait for breakfast.

Friendly relaxing place to eat, drink & sleep.
Pros:

Everything. Very welcoming atmosphere. The room was decorated & equipped to a high standard. Lovely bedding, comfortable bed. Mini fridge with fresh milk & a mini bottle of prosecco - so thoughtful. Lovely bathroom with face cloths! The breakfast had a vast choice of dishes cooked to order. The evening meal was excellent. Happy hour was good as it coincided with our check in. Good choice of proper beer. Staff very friendly & helpful. Plenty of parking. We will be returning.

What an absolute delightfull stay! Comfotrable room, spotless clean, tastefully decorated and super comfortable bed. Dinner and breakfast was excellent! Friendly staff. Fantastic stay!

Wonderful place, great value for money and very comfortable stay.
Pros:

Such a lovely pub/hotel, staff friendly and welcoming. Small room but perfectly laid out and furnished with everything you need and more. The garden/patio was perfect with a bit of shade from small trees. We enjoyed a lovely lunch and breakfast where nothing we asked for was too much trouble.

Cons:

The room was hot as in the eves of an old building with evening sun, a fan was provided but quiet noisy. Duvet too heavy, need a lighter option. Not keen on coffee bags but staff were very happy to provide some instant alternative.
