Although the staff doesn't speak English he let us make an early check in and even offered us a coffee.
The location and the view from the room are superb.
The bed was small and not really comfortable

No lift, and the stairs are narrow, but it's understandable as the place is old, however the owner helped us to carry luggage

The hotel is very special and set in amazing grounds with lots of plants. It is quiet too as it is set back from the road. The staff were welcoming and friendly and wanted to help. The breakfast was tasty and with lots of options too. You could also not ask for a better location as it is walking distance to everything in town. Also, the view of the church from my room was stunning!
The room was perfect for me but maybe a bit small if booking for two. However, they did have luggage storage so bigger bags could be left there.

Le prix est trop chère car les chambres ne sont pas non plus excellentes. Salle de bain médiocre avec petite douche et eau chaude mais sans trop de pression. Il manque une mise à jour des chambres pour que cela corresponde au prix mentionné.
The perfect place to stay in Jardín is the enchanting Hotel Kantarrana. A lovely oasis right in the middle of town. It’s just a block and a half from the main square but as soon as you open the door the serenity greets you. I was a bit confused by some of the photos and thought it must be at the edge of town but it is in the center. Mario the owner is a fantastic host. He helped us in so many ways with tours, transport and suggestions. You feel like a special guest of the family. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really nice. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely stay here when we return. We are certain this is the best stay in the magical town of Jardín.

The location of the hotel is perfect and it has a very quaint feel. This was our first time staying here and I love it each time
There is some construction going on close by at the moment, which is no fault of the hotel so it was a bit loud.

Hotel muy bonito y tranquilo, adentro sientes como si estuvieras en un lugar campestre o rural pero es muy cerca del parque, con el plus de que queda en una zona donde no se siente casi ruido y eso te permite descansar al tiempo que tienes muchos lugares de interés cerca para conocer. Las instalaciones en general son cómodas.
No es que haya afectado mi estancia o la opinión del hotel, pero podría mejorar un poco el servicio de tv y su oferta de canales.

Clean, affordable, and very friendly staff who gave great restaurant and coffee shop recommendations. The hot tub was a nice touch—perfect to cool off during the day and warm up at night. No bugs despite having windows and doors open. Breakfast was simple but good: arepa, queso, eggs, and fresh fruit.
More fans or AC would have helped since the bedroom is on the third floor, but it cooled down enough at night for a comfortable sleep.

Open to feedback and despite speaking very little english, keen to try and communicate and make our stay as nice as possible
It wouldn't put us off, but the WiFi was poor and dropped out frequently
So not for digital nomads!
