They gave us a room far inferior to the one we had booked.
Pros:

the location in Seven Dials

Cons:

The annex building was unusable, and we were given another room in the main building—a much inferior one—without any compensation.
It didn't have a view of the city, as I had booked, but rather of a courtyard.
The room was very small and was an oven.

good location and friendly staff but not the best room itself
Pros:

really friendly staff at the 7 dials hotel where we collected keys and left our bags. good location in Covent Garden and 5 minutes from the nearest tube station (Tottenham Court Road) which has multiple lines and is only 5 minutes tube to Paddington

Cons:

the room felt really small, especially the en-suite bathroom - we kept banging into the door while using it, and the bathroom light was on a sensor which would turn off frequently while showering and even just using the toilet which felt like a safety hazard. there was very little space for storage as the wardrobe had a broken door and was positioned behind the front door so was in a really awkward, tight space. there was daily cleaning however this wasn't signposted and we had no do not disturb signs so we were walked in on twice during our stay when we would've preferred to have been left alone and were unprepared for anyone to be knocking the doors

Posizione top che si fa perdonare qualche disagio
Pros:

La posizione è ottima, Seven Dials è una zona molto servita, vicinissima a CHINA TOWN e COVENT GARDEN, molto comoda per raggiungere HEATHROW. La zona è piena di locali carini e negozi.

Cons:

La nostra stanza era molto piccola e solo con il ventilatore non si riusciva rinfrescare. Inoltre la zona è centrale è molto viva nel week end quindi c'era rumore fino a molto tardi.

No lock on the bathroom, broken glass in a window, no shower gel or shampoo & shower small, lots of stairs

The room was not bad, though no air conditioning to help with the hot weather, but 2fans were provided.

Cheap and cheerful, clean but not up to date

Great location, cheap, fairly easy to find

Cons:

Kettle was dodgy, wouldnt stay on without holding the button down, bathroom shower worked fine but tiles had been put on top of an old shower clearly so it was sort of just a hole, and I imagine wouldnt be too hard to slice a toe. Top of cabinet hadnt been dusted in ages, fan hadnt been wiped down, bathroom extract fan blew air into the room instead of out, shelf was upside down? Mattresses were comfortable but the pillows were very thin, and on stripping the beds discovered the duvet was stained in a few places. I stayed in an annex which wasnt the easiest to find, and the front door has a strange lock which made me cycle through the keys a few times because it wouldnt open. Window was broken too, taped over but there was another hole that was wide open. Bedside cabinets desperately need replacing, veneer badly replaced and completely peeling off.
