Location was excellent.
The room was very small. There was no small desk available to work on. During my last visit the room was the same size but there was a desk and a chair available to work on.
It delivers exactly what it promises.

The staff were friendly, and the facilities at the hotel were great. Nice shower with good water pressure, ironing stuff available, bed was comfortable enough.
I went for a bedroom without a window. Ended up in room 21. Actually loved the idea of not having a window because I really value the idea of soundproofing, particularly in a busy city.
What the advert didn’t say was that I’d be hearing the Old Street tubes go past every 30 secs during the day, and then maybe every 5 mins during the night. It never blended in to be background noise because of how much of a vibration it caused, meaning I had an awful night sleep.
So yeah, not good and should be stated on the description of the room. They obviously can’t do much about it, but the customer should be made well aware about that before before booking and the idea that the room has improved soundproofing is incredibly misleading.

Sono rimasta tre notti con notti piuttosto calde e non era necessario il piumone che, rimuovendolo dal guscio, ho trovato molto sporco, con una grossa macchia di sangue, piuttosto inquietante.
L'ascensore era rotto, e durante la mia permanenza non c'è stato nessun tecnico per accomodarlo. Avendo una pesante valigia, anche fare due rampe di scale é stato abbastanza complicato. E pensare che avevo scelto questa struttura proprio per l'ascensore.
The staff were very helpful and polite. The room was basic but more than adequate and comfortable.
