Prachtige kamer in een prachtige levendige Inn, van alle gemakken voorzien. Gezellige plek voor een borrel, heerlijk avondeten en fantastisch zeer uitgebreid ontbijt.

Cons:

Niets, maar het is wel prijzig.

Very relaxing and peaceful. We were never rushed. Local walks were delightful.
Pros:

The food was excellent, and a lovely, varied menu. We couldn’t fault the service. Very friendly staff, efficient and attentive. Excellent cleanliness and comfy beds. Plenty of instant hot water. Fabulous location. Lovely that dogs are welcome. We particularly loved the warm log fire when having breakfast and attention to detail. Lovely gardens and outside seating.

Cons:

Tatty, stained carpets in corridors and rooms. Car park for pub totally full and hard to find parking if staying. We found sheets and towels on the floor on the dirty carpets outside rooms ready for room changes and felt this was inappropriate. The thought of sheets on beds after lying on dirty floors. Day of leaving we couldn’t take luggage out of back door because space was littered with housekeeping equipment. Also a health and safety risk. The whole pub could benefit by a paint facelift. Overhead Lights were very bright in bar area. Could tables have candles for atmosphere at night?

Fabulous walking weekend.
Pros:

A fabulous location but disappointed that we had to pay to park in the field when we arrived as there was no parking left at the hotel. We then had to park at the Lister Farmhouse as still no parking available at the hotel. Other than that our stay was perfect. Very friendly staff, delicious food and great service. Room was ‘Cosy’ as advertised, but clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Having to pay to park for the day as no parking available at the hotel. (See above.)

Pros:

We did like, literally, every minute spent at Lister Arms and in Malham. So lovely, so glamorous. Food was excellent in every way, especially if you like traditional British cuisine. The staff were welcoming and polite. Bonus points for the sausage meal offered to dog companions. :)

Cons:

None.
