Mooie vakantie in een basic maar prachtige omgeving.
Pros:

De ligging, van daaruit kan je vele uitstappen maken.

Cons:

De belofte dat er elke dag zou schoongemaakt worden kwamen ze niet na. We moesten zelf handdoeken, zeep en toiletpapier gaan halen. 1 keer hadden ze de handdoeken voor de deur op de grond (heel hygiënisch) gelegd…We hebben het management hierover aangesproken en we hebben hiervoor wel een compensatie gekregen. Jammer dat het zo moest gaan want we waren hier de tweede keer omdat het de vorige keer (2022) wel allemaal in orde was. Personeel aan de bar is heel vriendelijk, van het personeel in de keuken werd je niet echt vrolijk.

My Stay again at Beech Arms, Oakley.
Pros:

Clean bed, spacious, every room has an en suite bathroom/ shower. Variable temperature taps to shower.
32” TV. Work desk. Excellent grub. Car park is good.

Cons:

Layout, outdated decor like doors and windows.
WiFi is so lazy lucky if you get strong stream.
Can’t play COD on the PS5.
Security: no keycard: standard lock and key.
Fob works to enter the property.
I think that’s it. Oh yh the air con is a window.
Stay at the price you pay. 💰

I would stay again, as it's clean and the food is good.

Cons:

The wifi in the room was none existent. Moving around the hotel it was difficult to get a decent signal. I had to stand in the car park and use my own data.

Staff really lovely and helpful

Bed settee. It looked and felt like it had been made up long before we used it and we had to figure out how to open it up ourselves as had not been made up in reading was for us.

Nice hotel, reasonable price for accommodation and food.
Pros:

Late checkout.
Hotel was quiet.
Decor was good.
On site free parking.

Cons:

A lot of the buffet breakfast items were cold or not available.
Bar and Reception closed at 10pm. Some guests who'd checked in online couldn't get in to their rooms. There was no provision to leave keys for late arrivals.

Gemütliches Landhotel mit fairen Preisen
Pros:

Es gab ein super Frühstück, das Personal ist sehr freundlich, die Zimmer sind groß. Gemütliche Atmosphäre im Restaurant und Barbereich.

Cons:

Die Dusche im großzügigen Badezimmer hat leider den Nachteil, dass das Wasser nicht schnell genug abläuft und dadurch der Fußboden schnell nass wird.

Urig, typisch englischer "Pub", leckeres Abendessen, nettes Personal. Bequeme Betten.
