Stunning views, beautiful Hotel
Pros:

Beautiful Hotel, perfect for access to the stelvio Pass.
Hotel is recently renovated to high standard.
Stunning views and what makes it really charming is its family run.
We was greeted by Jimmy the Bernese Mountain Dog ❤️ and the young gentleman who checked us in (Leon 11 years old) who I have to say was excellent in his profession.
The wellness centre was very nice.
The room was very comfortable we had a great nights sleep.
Evening meal was excellent too.

Disappointing for such a nice hotel
Pros:

The hotel is wellness spa, the facilities were very good and the room very clean and modern

Cons:

I asked and paid for a room with a bed and also a sofa bed in a lounge area, however when we arrived the hotel was full and we were given a standard double room - this was a problem as it was myself and 15 year old son staying and we had to share a bed in a mediocre sized room.
The receptionist was an older Italian guy who was very polite however when I said we had paid for a room with both a bed and a sofa bed he said the hotel was full and he couldn't do anything about it, we both didn't haven't a very good sleep thta evening.
Also we arrived at 7pm and the spa had already closed, I hoped to use the pool that evening and it wasn't possible.
No offer of any discount so very disappointing.

Top-Hotel mit Herz in fantastischer Berglandschaft
Pros:

Alles. Eintolles Hausmit historischen Wurzeln, supermodern, komfortabel und sehr schön eingerichtet. Aussergewöhnlich schöner Aussenpool mit Superblick auf die Berge, toller neuer Spa-Bereich. Sehr gutes Essen. Und eine unglaublich freundliche Gastgeberfamilie, die man einfach mögen muss. Wir sind Madatsch-Fans!

Wonderful Anniversary Stay
Pros:

My husband and I stayed here one night for our anniversary and everything about our stay was wonderful. The only thing we regret was not staying for longer! We were on a motorcycle trip and this hotel was one of our highlights. The location is great and our room was beautiful. We're so glad we stayed here instead of the top of the pass. The views of the mountains and the glacier are stunning from this location. We felt very welcomed - all of the staff was so nice and accommodating. The upstairs gym was great, there are hiking trails next door and the half board meals were wonderful. We also enjoyed visting the refugio (Furkelhutte) at the top of the ski hill. 10/10 would stay here again.
