Leider entsprach unser Aufenthalt in keiner Weise den Erwartungen, die man bei diesem Preisniveau haben darf.

Bereits bei der Ankunft machte die gesamte Anlage einen stark abgewohnten und wenig gepflegten Eindruck. Das Zimmer war nicht ausreichend gereinigt: Es befanden sich noch Staubreste auf verschiedenen Oberflächen, die Bettdecken wirkten nicht frisch und die Dusche war in einem derart verschmutzten Zustand, dass wir diese nur mit Badeschuhen benutzen wollten.

Besonders enttäuschend war, dass das Personal beim Check-in zunächst selbst prüfen musste, ob das Zimmer überhaupt gereinigt worden war. Trotz dieser zusätzlichen Kontrolle war die Sauberkeit offensichtlich mangelhaft. Auch der Wasserkocher war stark abgenutzt und nicht in einem Zustand, den wir als hygienisch bezeichnen würden.

Hinzu kam, dass das Zimmer aufgrund der unzureichenden Belüftungsmöglichkeiten äußerst stickig war. Das Fenster ließ sich nur wenige Zentimeter öffnen, wodurch selbst bei kühleren Außentemperaturen kaum Frischluft ins Zimmer gelangte.

Auch der Schlafkomfort ließ deutlich zu wünschen übrig. Das als Doppelbett angebotene Bett bestand lediglich aus zwei zusammengeschobenen Einzelbetten beziehungsweise Matratzen. Dadurch entstand in der Mitte eine spürbare Lücke, was das Schlafen insbesondere für Paare unangenehm machte. Bei einer Unterkunft in dieser Preisklasse hätten wir hier eine deutlich bessere Lösung erwartet.

Das Frühstück war ebenfalls deutlich unter dem Standard, den wir von einer Unterkunft dieser Preisklasse erwarten. Der Speck war extrem trocken und kaum essbar, die Würstchen wirkten wenig appetitlich und konnten geschmacklich ebenfalls nicht überzeugen. Das Brot, insbesondere der Toast, war offensichtlich nicht mehr frisch und bereits sehr hart. Darüber hinaus mussten sich sämtliche Gäste Butter und Aufstriche mit denselben Messern entnehmen, was aus hygienischer Sicht nicht zeitgemäß erscheint.

La habitación super grande y limpia.
La ducha enorme aunque bastante oscura.
Lo mejor fue el restaurante por la noche. Elegimos el menú de 3 platos y fue genial! La sopa nos gustó mucho y el cordero también. Todo de buena calidad!
Y a precio normal para Islandia.
Todo el personal también muy amable.
El desayuno fue ok. Pero también en comparación con lo que hay en Islandia fue súper.

Las cortinas en la habitación no oscurecen. Una pena porque las camas son muy cómodas.
