Friendly Staff, Great Location at the heart of the city center.
I would not wish this experience on anyone. After paying an exorbitant £700+ for three nights at the Z Hotel Glasgow (admittedly during Commonwealth Games season), I expected far better than what was delivered.
The Room Issues:
The room was extremely cramped with barely enough floor space to place luggage. The layout itself was problematic – a beam cut awkwardly through the room, making navigation uncomfortable. The bathroom was undersized, and most frustratingly, there was no window, leaving the room feeling claustrophobic and disconnected from the outside world.
Sleep Quality Problems:
Throughout the night, constant water noise from the building's plumbing system made it nearly impossible to sleep. Additionally, the smoke detector and air conditioning unit featured bright indicator lights that illuminated the entire room all night long. As someone who prefers dark environments for sleeping, this was particularly disruptive and left me exhausted.
Value for Money:
The combination of poor room quality, uncomfortable conditions, and the premium price charged does not justify the experience. For the amount paid, I had every right to expect a significantly more comfortable and functional space.
Location
Nothing
Location
Room had a smell as soon as I went in. It appeared to be clean but the bedside table wasn’t actually very clean. Not the worst though
Great location a block away from Queen street station. Comfortable room with everything you needed. Very friendly staff.
Staff were great
Location was very good
Staff are always so friendly and helpful, round the clock help and facilities always clean as a repeat guest.
Nothing to add
Konumu iyiydi.
Odalar çok küçük , yastıklar çok rahatsız, tavanda duman dedektörünün lambası gözümü aldı uyuyamadım. Klozetle yatak yan yana. Odalar çok küçük. Sırt Çantamı koyacak bişey yoktu odada. konseri için geldim, müsait başka yer olmadığı için zorunlu bir konaklamaydı. 2. Konaklama asla olmaz.
Location was fantastic and the room's facilities were great
Cleaning in the common areas (reception/breakfast bar/lift lobbies) could be better
The location, the staff, the 24-hour desk, and the very comfortable bed
It was basic, which I expected for the money. Fair enough but the tv didn’t work (no, I didn’t report it) and there was no socket anywhere near the kettle. Not big deals for a one night stay when I was going out anyway but worth a mention
how easy it was to get to key locations in glasgow city centre
everything was perfect
Mostly everything is ok
If you could add a small additional table on the room (w/o window), it will be great
Location is great, right in the middle of Glasgow.
The sink was very small. Hard to wash / shave without making a mess. The room was small, but functional; a desk would have been nice, though.
