Excellent location and very helpful, friendly staff. I stayed one night to break up my travelling home, it was during a heat wave so the air conditioning was absolute heaven! The room was a double and was good value, the room was small and would be intimate if you were travelling as a couple, the bed was clean and comfortable. I had a window out over Glasgow which was atmospheric. The staff are relaxed, welcoming and helpful, it’s a better deal to book direct. The staff are multilingual, I was having a G&T at the bar/reception area and a Spanish couple checked in, the receptionist had a very friendly chat with them in Spanish, which I thought was a brilliant welcome for them.
We only needed a bed for the night so it met our needs perfectly. Very effective use of a small space.

Next door to train station and town centre so very handy
The mattress was knackered and a super noisy extractor fan in the ceiling kept us up most of the night. Facilities in the room are basic and did not match the price we paid for the night
Very comfortable, excellent central location, friendly staff. The internet connection was very good, allowing me to have online meetings for work.

The location was convenient for train and bus and for walking the city.
The room was very small. I didn’t even have room to put my luggage anywhere. I had to clean off the desk to put my luggage up. I asked staff to change the preset in the room AC as it wouldn’t go below 19C. They couldn’t fix it.
