Room overlooking beer garden which wasn't a problem apart from being told we couldn't open windows, could feel springs in mattress when I complained the mattress was turned and a topper was added which was okay, although a industrial fan put in the room because it was so hot we obviously had to put up with the noise bit disappointing
Room was very clean and comfy! Staff great. Extremely dog friendly. Breakfast excellent! Lovely walk/access to the sand dunes and beach, through the golf links. Better to drive up to the castle if you have leg problems 😉
Stairs to room a bit steep with luggage. Busy road outside but not too much noise.

Lovely decor and finishing touches, nice big shower cubicle, nice spacious room with lovely view, friendly staff & owners, free parking, lovely breakfast and evening meal, snack jar and bottle of water in the room. Eye masks and earplugs provided in the room if needed as hotel by a train station.
I found the matress too hard for me, I have hip pain and struggled to get comfy but other half slept well.
Exceptionally clean, comfortable room with thoughtful details to make our stay easy. Very friendly and efficient hoteliers who made us feel very welcome. Great location for the area with free easy to access parking. Great choices for dinner and breakfast. Highly recommend.
