Modern rooms with air con
No access to Nature Reserve at weekend so limited walks on site and no walk to Ickleford. The gates are locked…maybe a keypad with staff having code would be good. The park has interesting wildlife , muntjac deer, herons .
It was not a hotel as advertised there was no hotel reception. The rooms were a long distance to wlak expecially with elderly relatives

Arrived at the hotel to find the main restaurant was closed and had to eat in an auditorium like space. Very uncomfortable, limited menu.
WiFi wasn't great, kept disconnecting trying to connect took 15-20 minutes each time.
Clean tidy and spacious accommodation. Great night's sleep! Breakfast was fantastic. If we're staying in the area again, we'll definitely be back.

Our room was like a sauna !! We did ask for extra fan which they provided but it just blew the hot air around . Our room really needed a ceiling fan !! The window barely opens and there is no air circulation!! Very very disappointing!

Close to M11 so easy by car. 100% secure location. Staff helpful . Accommodation first class. Bar and light meal excellent. Breakfast cooked to order perfect.
