Unfassbar schöne Unterkunft, mit großem Angebot an kostenlosen Aktivitäten, tollem Essen und wirklich supertollem Personal!

Wir waren für 3 Tage spontan im Rosyth Estate House und können es nur jedem weiterempfehlen! Die kleine Anlage liegt direkt im Regenwald und bietet einem trotzdem mehr, als man sich wünschen kann.

Zu unserem Zeitpunkt, waren wir die einzigen Gäste dort. Doch anstatt dass es sich komisch angefühlt hat, haben wir dort das bisher mit Abstand beste Hotelerlebnis gehabt.

Direkt zu Beginn wurden wir darüber informiert, dass unser Zimmer kostenlos upgegradet wurde. Was das Hotel so einzigartig macht, ist aber nicht nur die Lage und die Ausstattung, sondern das Personal.

Vom ersten Tag an wurde sich super liebevoll und sehr fürsorglich um uns gekümmert. So einen Service und so tolle Menschen habe ich vorher noch in keinem Hotel erlebt. Das Personal ist so interessiert daran, einem den Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu gestalten, und hat große Freude daran, einem (kostenlos) morgendliche Yoga-Stunden oder Führungen über die zum Hotel gehörenden Plantagen und den Regenwald zu geben.

Vom Yoga-Instructor, der Besitzerin, über das Hotelpersonal bis zum Guide für Touren durch die Natur und das Gelände, alle waren wirklich tolle Menschen, die sehr viel Spaß an ihrer Arbeit hatten und jederzeit für einen da waren.

Obwohl wir die einzigen Gäste waren, wurde jeden Morgen und Abend ein großartiges individuelles Essen für uns zubereitet. Davor wurde immer mit uns abgesprochen, was wir gerne essen möchten.

Wer ein einzigartiges Hotel in schöner Lage, mit ausgezeichnetem Essen und Personal sucht, ist hier genau richtig! Wir werden noch lange an unseren Aufenthalten zurückdenken und danken dem Personal für diese schöne Zeit!

This is a beautiful small hotel, set in a secluded valley surrounded by a tea plantation. What a perfect stopover after a long flight and our only regret was not staying longer. Everything about Rosyth is personal and nothing is too much trouble. The food was simply delicious and we much enjoyed our estate walk and visit to the tea factory. We loved our stay.

Das Rosyth ist eine wunderschön gelegene Anlage mit allen Bequemlichkeiten, die man sich nur wünschen kann. Es liegt mitten in der Natur, alles ist grün und üppig. Die geräumigen Zimmer sind super geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Besonders genossen haben wir den Nachmittag in der Tea-Factory und den Estate-Walk. Viel gelernt über die Tee-Verarbeitung und Rubber-Trees. Farzana und Neill sind tolle Gastgeber - wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Danke.

We spent 3 nights, just relaxing, doing yoga, eating really well, enjoying cooking classes, estate walks and a thorough introduction to their tea plantation. The owner couple is really friendly, the staff are very attentive, the food is amazing and the property is absolutely gorgeous, nestled on a hill side, in the jungle, surrounded by birds and daily greetings with monkeys passing by.

Wow, what a stunning place. Beautifully presented and incredibly peaceful, our family room was divine; the food really was delicious and the staff were beyond helpful.
The morning yoga was as heavenly and zen as the foot massage on arrival.
We had a truly fascinating time touring the tea plantation with Isuru (he’s absolutely amazing) and stayed and chatted to the tea pickers for hours.
Totally wonderful.

Perfection in every detail

This is a beautiful boutique hotel run by a lovely couple. The staff are so welcoming and friendly.
Pasan was so knowledgeable and kind. All of the staff were a delight with our children.

The food was delicious, amazing curry and rice and dahl! And the breakfast was a great variety.

We had the opportunity to have a tour around the estate and also see the tea factory where they sort the leaves. Really enjoyed the experience.

Highly recommend it, all the staff were incredible and made us feel at ease. The food was great every night, amazing local flavours and ingredients. We travelled with our 2 children and the staff were so friendly with them they were best friends after a few days!

The hotel is in a stunning location and the staff were very attentive. The food was delicious and everyday a different Sri Lanka meal. The hotel has still a lot of the original furniture and old colonial feeling.

Rosyth Estate is a wonderful little hotel in the middle of nowhere. The team was extremely welcoming and did go above and beyond, even though we only stayed there for one night. Special kudos to the best chicken curry we had ever!

Amazing staff, amazing boutique hotel that felt like a home. Do stop by if you can! Our favourite place when we visited Sri Lanka!
