We had an amazing experience in Bamberg and this hotel was one of the main reasons why!
Pros:

The staff was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Our host even ordered us a taxi when we needed to leave for an early morning train ride given the language difference. Would highly recommend.

Cons:

Honestly, it was an amazing stay! The stairs were a beast, but we knew that going in and it was very clearly stated on the reservation. They are just steep and seem never ending with a heavy suitcase! Again, not at all a negative on the hotel, but worth noting for anyone with physical limitations.

Pros:

The location was excellent. I was given a free upgrade which was nice and the room was really big. The coffee machine was a bonus and easy to use. So many useful extras, crockery, a box of tissues, shoe horn, ear plugs....The bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

Nothing to complain about.
Just a comment, not a complaint about this hotel. As an elderly person it would be useful to have a non slip mat offered for the shower. Like most seniors I worry about falling.

Top Lage, sympathisches Hotel mit verspielten Ausstattungsdetails
Pros:

Süßes kleines Hotel in der Fußgängerzone. Unsere e-Bikes konnten wir sicher in einer Ecke des Hausflurs abstellen. Zwar etwas provisorisch, aber immerhin diebstalsicher.
Zimmer geräumig mit Tisch und Stühlen und mit liebevollen Details eingerichtet. Tee- und Kaffeezubereitungsmöglichkeiten. Bad im Vergleich zum Zimmer klein, aber ausreichend.
Lage ist top. Direkt in der Altstadt, alles fußläufig erreichbar. Sehr nettes Personal.

Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Altstadt und hat somit die perfekte Lage für Bambergentdecker.

Cons:

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, allerdings gibt es keinen Aufzug .

Pros:

Ein rundum gelungener schöner Aufenthalt mit Hund, ALLES bestens, ausgezeichnete Lage zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants, Cafes, Geschäften etc.
Besonders gefreut habe ich mich über das Upgrade auf ein größeres Zimmer. Wir werden wieder kommen, auch um weitere versteckte romantische Ecken dieser wunderschönen Stadt zu erkunden.

Mit einigen kleinen Abstrichen, doch zu empfehlen

Die Lage ist unschlagbar, die Betten waren gut.

Cons:

Die angegebenen Flaschen Wasser waren nicht da, wurden aber bei Beanstandung sofort gebracht, die Sauberkeit war sehr oberflächlich, die Ecken und Steckleisten waren sehr verstaubt, Shampoo und Duschgel war leer, wurde aber auch dann aufgefüllt. Das TV war verstellt und konnte am nächsten Tag auch nur vom Personal funktionstüchtig gemacht werden. Obwohl das Zimmer für 4 Personen ist, war viel zu wenig Geschirr und Besteck da.
