Modern Rooms in Historic Building Near the Center of Bamberg
Pros:

Hotel Zum Goldenen Anker is located a 10-15 minute walk from the historic center of Bamberg and about a 15 minute bus ride from the train station. The hotel is set in a centuries old building, but the rooms are modern with good Wi-Fi and plenty of natural light. A typical German breakfast is served every morning in the attached hotel restaurant. I enjoyed my stay in Hotel Zum Goldenen Anker and do recommend it for a short stay.

Schöner Aufenthalt in einem schönen Hotel
Pros:

Das Zimmer mit Balkon war sehr schön, auch die vielen Sitzgelegenheiten waren super. Nette Chefin, die gleich Tipps für unseren Bummel in die Altstadt gab. Die Lage war toll, ruhig aber doch nicht weit von der City entfernt. Gutes ausreichendes Frühstück.

Die Besitzerin führt das kleine, feine Hotel mit Herzblut, das merkt man sofort. Wir konnten am Morgen unsere Tasche abstellen und die Toilette benutzen , bevor wir in Stadt gegangen sind. Wir erhielten Informationen zur seit 14 Jahren erstmals wieder eröffneten Klosterkirche, mit der Empfehlung, sie uns unbedingt anzuschauen. Das haben wir dann auch gemacht.....
