Très bonne option pour quelques nuits à l’arrivée ou au retour.

Accueil très chaleureux dans ce petit hôtel familial. Notre hôte a été très aidant. Par exemple en nous facilitant l’installation de l’application Pick me qui nous a été très utile durant tout notre séjour au Sri Lanka Lanka.

I had a disappointing experience at this property. Before my arrival, I messaged the guest house to reconfirm my booking and was clearly told that I could check in by 12 PM. However, when I arrived, the staff seemed unhappy that I had booked only for one night.
I was then informed that my room was “not ready,” and later they claimed that the AC in the room was broken. They offered alternative rooms, but the quality and condition were not similar to the room I originally booked. When I politely said I did not like the alternatives and mentioned that they should have informed me before my arrival, the staff member became angry and unprofessional.
I understand that unexpected issues can happen, but the way the situation was handled was disappointing. Better communication and a more respectful attitude toward guests would have made a big difference.

A truly superb experience, with excellent staff and a top‑notch location.
Pros:

The location was perfect: close to shops, food, rail, and bus, with Galle Road just 50 metres to the right and the beach and its lively restaurants 200 metres to the left. The staff were fantastic and made my two‑week stay truly superb. My room featured a huge ensuite, a comfortable bed, a TV with local stations, and a window overlooking the front. The A/C kept the room wonderfully cool, and the electric hot water system provided consistently warm showers. Although there were other rooms nearby, it felt quiet and very private.

Cons:

On Sundays, there’s no need for an alarm. The church at the top of the street holds early‑morning gatherings, and the groups marching past tended to chant quite loudly. Perhaps this was as I was there during the Easter period?

Good value, great location, clean and stylish
Pros:

The Property is really well situated. I don’t normally like to stay in Colombo as it is often very noisy however this place is down a quiet street and it’s possible to get a good night sleep. It’s clean, stylish and a good size. As a single female traveller, it feels safe. The host is also very helpful.

VERY RUDE AND BAD
Cons:

I booked it through booking.com and while I was going there a person called me and said that he cannot give the rates of booking.com. He quoted 2000rs higher than what booking.com had mentioned. He was rude and said that he can’t let me stay at that price unless i pay more. I will never recommend this place to anyone. If a person is so rude through a phone call, I can't even imagine how rude he would be in person.

Pros:

Super Lage, Einkaufsladen direkt in der Nähe. Man war sehr schnell am Meer. Das Personal war super nett und hat uns bei Problemen direkt geholfen und war immer erreichbar.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war sehr klein. Klopapier war nicht aufgefüllt und hatten nur ein Handtuch aber haben bei nachfrage sofort Nachschub erhalten. Nachts war es sehr laut durch die Straße.
