100% aanrader! De perfecte afsluiter van onze reis in Sri Lanka.

Deze locatie is gewoonweg prachtig! Je bevindt je echt in het paradijs. Wij hadden een kamer op het gelijkvloers & bij het buitenkomen, zaten we meteen op het strand. 's Nachts hoorde je gewoon de golven terwijl je in bed lag, zalig gewoon. Ook de kamer op zich was heel mooi & proper, net zoals het eten heel lekker was en het personeel ontzettend vriendelijk. Voor mijn vriend z'n verjaardag kregen we een gratis stuk cake & cocktail. Qua locatie zit je ook in het hartje van Mirissa. Je hebt zicht op de Parrot Rock & op wandelafstand van Coconot Tree Hill. Ik zou dit hotel aan iedereen aanbevelen & kom hier zeker nog terug!

Cons:

Viel ons niet tegen, maar weet gewoon dat dit hotel 100% vegan is, en je dus geen dierlijke producten terugvindt op de menukaart.

absolutes "Stolen" Paradies, traumhaft
Pros:

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Slow Vegan in Mirissa, auch als Nicht-Veganer.. Das Flair der Anlage ist einfach besonders: sehr ruhig, absolut idyllisch und mit einer Atmosphäre, in der man sofort runterkommt. Nach den lebendigeren Stationen unserer Sri-Lanka-Reise war das Slow Vegan für uns der perfekte Rückzugsort zum Abschluss. Morgens Frühstücken direkt am Meer, traumhaft. Das Personal ist super hilfsbereit und freundlich.
Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet und wirkt durch die Natur, die Ruhe und das besondere Konzept fast wie eine kleine Oase, "Stolen Paradies". Gerade die Kombination aus entspannter Atmosphäre, bewusstem Stil und der Nähe zu Mirissa hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Tagsüber konnten wir - auch in den "Regenzeit" - den Main Beach von Mirissa mit Beach Clubs, Wellen und Leben genießen — und danach wieder in die ruhige, idyllische Atmosphäre des Hotels zurückkehren. Das Hotel hat seinen Preis und ist nicht luxuriös, es trifft aber genau unseren Geschmack und wir können das Slow Vegan sehr empfehlen.

Ein besonderer Ort
Pros:

Die Lage direkt am Meer ist wunderschön und die Stimmung sehr entspannt und erholsam. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr bemüht und freundlich. Das Essen (sowohl Frühstück, das es übrigens den ganzen Tag über gibt, als auch Abendessen) ist ausgezeichnet und für uns als Vegetarier ein Traum. Wir waren bereits zum 2. Mal hier und kommen sicher wieder

Traumlage mit Luft nach oben
Pros:

An einem wunderschönen Strandabschnitt gelegen, die Restauranttische stehen quasi direkt am Strand. Bei schönem Wetter kann man in diesem Abschnitt surfen. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet und es gibt ein gutes internationales Frühstück.

Cons:

Mit entsprechendem Management könnte das Hotel sein volles Potenzial entfalten. Auch was Sauberkeit angeht, gibt es Luft nach oben. Wir hatten mehrere riesige Kakerlaken im Zimmer, so in keinem anderen Hotel in SL erlebt.

Pros:

Naprostý ráj, byli jsme mimo sezónu (červenec) pláž sami pro sebe, dokonalé snídaně. Skvělý tichý hotel velmi citlivě a krásně zařízený. Pláž a okolí hotelu vždy čisté a krásné. Nejkrasnější místo v celé Mirisse. Doporučuji úplně všem.

Mooie plek, zeker de moeite waard, maar wel tegen een lagere prijs.
Pros:

Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Prachtige ligging direct aan zee. Heerlijk ontbijt.

Cons:

Prijs kwaliteit is niet helemaal in verhouding. Kamer, en zeker badkamer enigzinds verouderd. Met bijna €250 per nacht echt te duur.

Exceptional location, gorgeous room and view of the ocean
Pros:

We loved this place.
Set off the main road, this is a little sanctuary on a bay around the coast from the busier Mirissa.
This was our last stay after a couple of weeks sightseeing and we were more than happy just hanging out here. The sea is lovely for swimming and snorkelling (we spotted turtles). Surf is also an option here.
It’s an absolutely gorgeous setting. It feels both luxurious and relaxed.
The food is superb, (n.b none of us are vegan) the breakfasts, light bites and evening meals were all delicious. We ate here a lot.
Our accommodation, in the Family Studio, for myself, husband and two daughters (in their early twenties) worked very well.
The second bed is on a mezzanine and felt spacious enough for 4 adults. The decor is beautiful and we had views of the sea from our room and balcony.
The manager and all staff were brilliant and very helpful.

The walk around the bay to Mirissa along the coastal only takes a few minutes and passes by some cute small restaurants and Parrot Rock.

Cons:

Only thing we’d say is that the light on our outside balcony was broken and not fixed during our stay.
Also the blinds at the back of the balcony were broken and overlooking a run down building.
View to front of the sea is spectacular

Einzige Enttäuschung während 3 Wochen Sri Lanka
Pros:

- Grosses, eigentlich schönes Zimmer mit Innen- und Aussenbadezimmer
- Direkter Zugang vom Zimmer zu den Strandliegen
- Wunderschöne Lage direkt am Strand
- Sensationnes Frühstück; ganztags verfügbar
- Bequeme Betten, auch wenn die gesamte Einrichtung ein Makeover vertragen würde.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer war im Erdgeschoss direkt neben dem Petti Petti Club. Mit dem punktuellen Lärm hätten wir noch Leben können. Tanzende Clubgäste bei den privaten Hotelliegen; evtl. noch knapp amüsant. Kombiniert mit Kakerlaken und Ameisen im Zimmer, Abfall bei 'unseren' Strandliegen und - für uns am zentralsten - Schimmelgeruch und konkret Stockflecken an der ganzen Badezimmertür sowie der Umgang des Personals mit der Kritik, das Ganze im Verhältnis zum hohen Preis von 270$/Nacht: keine Weiterempfehlung von uns. Schade.
