A great hotel with wonderful staff
Pros:

From entering the hotel everyone were friendly efficient and do very helpful.

Pros:

Staff were friendly, breakfast was good and reasonable value. The location was convenient and the rooms, bar, and outdoor area were good for the price point.

Cons:

I was in two different rooms and in both the bathroom ceilings needed painted.

Pros:

Die Lage war zwar außerhalb aber in der Nähe eines Bahnhofs mit Anbindung nach Glasgow. Das Hotel bietet kostenfreie Parkplätze an.
Das Frühstück war sehr schmackhaft und optisch gut präsentiert.

Cons:

Das Englisch der Glasgower ist unverständlich und sie geben sich auch keine Mühe deutlicher zu sprechen.

Pros:

Kostenfreier Parkplatz, gute Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel, Supermarkt fußläufig erreichbar.

Cons:

Auf den ersten Blick wirkte das Zimmer sehr ansprechend, bei näherem hinsehen ist das Mobiliar jedoch sehr abgenutzt, Risse in den Stuhlhussen, ein lockeres Kopfteil am Bett.

Pros:

Very friendly staff extremely helpful. Rooms were clean tidy and well put together. Dont let the exterior fool you, it doesnt look like much but it's fabulous

Excellent small hotel
Pros:

Hotel is small and friendly. Ideally situated for public transport, bus and train. Bar, restaurant and breakfast room are very good and good choice of food and drink. All staff are very friendly and helpful. We didn’t bed and breakfast but on last day we were unable to have breakfast as we had to get away early for funeral in Liverpool so staff arranged for sandwiches to be available when we were leaving. Excellent customer service.

Staying at the Burnside hotel as a wheelchair user.
Pros:

The Burnside was lovely.The staff couldn't be more helpful.As a wheelchair user, they opened doors for me.Checked if I needed anything. The rooms are generous size ,and all on ground floor,so no added lift complications.Breakfast is not included but can be arranged and paid for on arrival.Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Cons:

Would be better if breakfast was included in price but it was still enjoyable.

Cheap, clean & friendly staff
Pros:

Basic as you would expect 2 star resort but spotless clean rooms. Breakfast was beautiful, and v reasonable. Didn’t eat dinner but looked fabulous coming out when having a drink at the bar. Staff extremely friendly and excellent customer service. Thank you
