You have probably never heard of Gudmont. You should visit, just to stay in this exceptional hotel.
Pros:

This is one of the finest evenings we have been privileged to enjoy. Everything was perfect; the reception when we arrived, the stunningly beautiful, spotlessly clean room, the outdoor restaurant, the service, the food, the surroundings. The food deserves special mention - it's pretty much Michelin star quality. Breakfast was equally delicious; lovely fresh food in another spectacular and beautifully decorated room. This is an extraordinary gem, paying tribute to one family's commitment to the best, taking a collapsing old papermill and reimagining it as a very high quality, stylish and original restaurant. I kept thinking that I was in a real life copy of Vogue, so exquisite was the detail and so beautiful the setting. Look beyond the bureaucratic rating system that gives this hotel 3 stars because it doesn't have a gym or something, and appreciate pure quality of a marvellous hotel stay and superb, home cooked food. Exceptional.

La Source Bleue is werkelijk prachtig gelegen. We hadden een heerlijke, rustige kamer met een terras met uitzicht op de prachtige tuin met vijver. 's Avonds heerlijk gedineerd op het terras van het bijbehorende restaurant gevestigd in een prachtig, oud gebouw. Het personeel is top! We werden super ontvangen: vrolijk en relaxed, je voelt je meteen thuis. Ook tijdens het diner super bediend: ook hier, relaxed, vriendelijk en enthousiast.

Beautiful location in the countryside

Beautifully peaceful setting in the most stunning. Countryside. Quiet and peaceful. Lovely little stream running alongside. Lots of old charm and original features. The food was outstanding.

Cons:

The modern hotel part needed aircon in the rooms. Couldn’t sleep as it was just too hot.

Aucun système de rafraîchissement ni ventilateur ni climatisation dans aucune des chambres... Étant donné qu'il y a la canicule nous aurions aimé être prévenu ma femme enceinte à souffert de la chaleur. À l'intérieur de la chambre nous avons dormi avec une température de 33 degrés...
