Pros:

Lage, Ruhe, Zimmergröße, Sauberkeit, Frühstück (Auswahl, Frühstücksraum, Personal, Frühstückszeiten)

Cons:

Vielleicht 1-2 (moderne) Bilder mehr an den Wänden... Ansonsten war alles super!

Excellent location, atmospheric place.
Pros:

Excellent location, nice historic building with small but comfortable rooms. The windows could be opened (important, and something that should be indicated in Booking.com descriptions!) and there was a good reading light. Nice breakfast and a quiet outdoor terrace to sit in the evening.

Cons:

The hotel appears to have no environmental policy: even if tap water is eminently drinkable, bottled water was provided in the room (instead of information that tap water can be used + perhaps a jug or similar) and at breakfast only bottled water was provided (which as we all know, has an environmental footprint 1000s of times bigger than tap water!). There were no separate bins for paper, plastic etc.

Hervorragendes Frühstück

Cons:

Lässt sich nicht vermeiden, aber die Zimmer sind wegen der Sonne sehr aufgeheizt und es ist sehr warm darin.

Wir haben uns zmit der Famileie im Hotel getroffen. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und gut ausgestattet. Außergewöhnlich ist das Frühstück: Viele hausgemachte Besonderheiten, es fehlt an nichts.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und auf eine angenehme Weise als Gast.
Pros:

Wir hatten ein 1,4 m Bett. das war ein bischen eng.
Das Frühstück war ganz außergewöhnlich und auch der wohltuende, zurückhaltende und aufmerksame Service.

Cons:

Das Bett hätte breiter sein können, war aber vorher bekannt.
Sonst keine Anmerkungen.

Phantastisches Frühstück
Pros:

Sehr freundliches Personal,die Lage optimal,gleich in der Nähe des holländischen Viertels. Die Zimmer waren sehr groß,auch ein großes behindertengerechtes Bad. Das Frühstück war genial, Smoothies,viel Obst,wirklich selbst gebackene und nicht nur aufgewärmte Teilchen...man konnte sich kaum entscheiden.

Cons:

Okay,es gibt günstigere Hotels. Es gab aber nichts,wss uns nicht gefallen hätte.

Hotel am großen Waisenhaus sehr gerne wieder!
Pros:

Unscheinbares kleines feines Hotel in zentraler Lage Sehenswürdigkeiten in Potsdam und Umgebung entweder zu Fuß oder Fahrrad oder Öffis sehr gut zu erreichen.
Phänomenales Frühstück das seinesgleichen sucht ,sehr ruhig in Seitenstraße gelegen (eine Schule nebenan da könnte es unter der Woche etwas lauter werden ??)
Service sehr gut ,auch Sauberkeit...,

Cons:

Ein Kühlschrank wäre gut und für die Zimmer im OG eine Klimaanlage

Pros:

Perfekte Lage, um zu Fuss in die Altstadt oder den Park Sanssouci zu kommen, schönes historisches Gebäude in einer ruhigen Strasse. Wirklich freundliches Personal. Hervorragendes Frühstück in einem schönen Glaspavillon.

Cons:

Die kleinen langen Zimmer (2m breit) sind auch Doppelzimmer. Das 1.40m Bett steht längs an der Wand, so dass einer klettern muss. Einrichtung eher funktional. Ein anderes Beleutungskonzept könnte helfen, im Bad zB schaute uns ein 15 Jahre älteres Ich entgegen.

Lage gut, aber für Anreise mit dem eigenen PKW eher nicht ganz so geeignet
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt für Spaziergänge in die Innenstadt, zum Holländischen Viertel und einem Besuch eines Restaurants oder Museums ideal. Das Zimmer ist groß, hat eine große Raumhöhe. Es gibt ein gutes Frühstück und schöne Plätze in der Veranda.

Cons:

Wir hatten extra nach einem Parkplatz gefragt und diesen in der Buchung mit angegeben. Das Hotel hat aber nicht genügend Parkplätze, nicht einmal eine Haltebox zum Ein- und Auschecken. Wir haben keinen Bescheid bekommen, dass es keinen Parkplatz für uns gibt. Das entspricht nicht dem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Das war für uns ein Auswahlkriterium. Es gab noch eine Entschuldigung von der Rezeption, aber Ehrlichkeit direkt bei der Buchung wäre uns lieber gewesen. Letztlich haben wir dann noch ein Zimmer mit behindertengerechtem Bad bekommen. Grundsätzlich ist das natürlich in Ordnung, wenn so etwas vorhanden ist. Wer es aber nicht benötigt, der zieht ein Bad mit Duschkabine oder Badewanne wohl vor. Bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Potsdam werden wir bestimmt ein anderes Hotel buchen.
