Once again, Rila Hotel proved to be an excellent choice
Pros:

This was our fifth time staying here, and once again, the experience was excellent. We have visited both during the ski season and in the summer, and every stay has been enjoyable. The free parking and the warm welcome we receive each time make us feel right at home.
On this occasion, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade from a park-view room to one with a beautiful view of the slopes. The breakfast was delicious, the spa and swimming pool were immaculate, and the entire property was very well maintained.
The room was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We also loved the neighborhood, which is quiet, clean, and surrounded by wonderfully fresh mountain air. Highly recommended.

Cons:

The tea and coffee supplies in the room were replenished inconsistently, sometimes with just one sachet and other times with two, which seemed rather strange.

Pros:

The location of hotel Rila is perfect. Also it has huge parking. All of the stuff who works there is very polite and professional.

Cons:

The first time when I had visited this hotel was 23-5 years ago, thats when they started renewing the hotel, now days it looks aged as well. Maybe the outside looks modern for a place like Borovets but the rooms are aged.
Dinner in way smaller hotels have many options and don’t serve the same food who wasn’t eaten the day before ( for example croissants ).

Pros:

We liked the hotel overall, the atmosphere, easy going staff, breakfast. Nice and clean rooms.

Cons:

Hotel was all fine, but the restaurants in surroundings are surprisingly expensive compared to other towns.

Pros:

The property is great! Staff is also very friendly and responsive. The room was clean. The curtains could be upgraded, as they feel dated. The different daily activities for the kids were very nice. Also nice variety of breakfast options in the restaurant.

Cons:

The spa area and pool does not feel premium. There were two saunas that were not working. No infrared sauna. The jacuzzi water was not warm, at all. The overall spa area needs an upgrade. The lobby cafe/bar used to have delicious cakes and desserts. I used to come to Borovets and make sure that I always stop in Rila Hotel for some nice cake and a coffee. they have removed all that. It doesn't feel like a lobby that you want to hang out.

Cons:

Отношението в детския кът. На практика нямаше как да оставим двете деца там, дори и за малко. Цените на храната не отговаряха на качеството.
