Evening meal was excellent as were the staff. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant.

Facilities and value for money caught our attention, so we booked for one night to try.
We were not disappointed. Everything about the property from the minute we arrived was fabulous.
Perfect staff, friendly and attentive. Perfect food and the location for visiting local attractions was also really easy.

The bed was comfortable.
So many little things that made our stay disappointing. The room was bare and Spartan. Hanging space was a wee raill tucked in a narrow corner where there was no light. One set of drawers with no stops on the drawers so on first use they fell out. No injury caused. Breakfast service was poor with staff who did not engage with guests. On Tuesday we had to remind them our order hadn't been taken and the wait for some poached eggs was ridiculous. Almost 1.5 hours for breakfast which was not of the quality id expect in a hotel like this which claims to be upper market. I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all.
The staff were so friendly and they made sure you shown around the hotel so you were aware where the spa , bar , breakfast / evening room for food . They explain times for food and were in hand by phone for any questions or food orders abd bookings

The different rooms available to sit and read in. The beautifully manicured grounds. The friendly reception staff and the evening staff, particularly the young lady in the bar. Great swimming pool.
One of the breakfast staff had put a bowl of fruit salad on a side table. Each time she went past it she picked up a piece with her fingers, put it in her mouth and then carried on serving. I witnessed her do this at least 5 times.
