Great place in a small town above a fun pub
Pros:

great friendly staff. The young lady was really nice and efficient when arriving even though I was in a rush . Donna was welcoming and a great laugh! Crediton is a very small and special place, check out The Ship when you go to Exeter!

Cons:

Wasn't sure about reentry after the pub was closed but was pretty clear as there is an alley way to the side. Also you are given two keys! One is for the room and one for the side door. I didn't have time to drink the lovely tea selections and fresh milk in the fridge :(

All staff where excellent. Made us feel at home. Nothing was to much trouble. Food was lovely and the atmosphere was really good. Highly recommended

Ticked every box, thus making it a stress-less experience.
Pros:

See below for comments on the Location and the breakfast. But accepting the Hotel is where it is, very comfortable, friendly pub. The room was more than adequate, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Staff were most helpful and pleasant. Value for money was exceptional. I would recommend highly to friends and family.

Cons:

Difficult at early evening, to be able to park close to the hotel. Also had to be up early to move the car on Saturday, before the traffic warden were on duty. This factor made for having a lay in and a breakfast at leisure difficult.

Tired bedroom and dirty bathroom
Pros:

Warm welcome from the nice lady

Cons:

I do t like leaving a bad review but this has to be said. The room wasn’t clean and the bathroom was dirty.
Sink was blocked, toilet seat cracked.
Badly in need of some proper cleaning, and put a new loo seat in. A basic housekeeping regime could easily make this a nice place to stay. As it is, there’s no way we would return.

Pros:

The staff are so lovely, friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was fantastic. The room and bathroom were spacious. We actually booked to stay at the Ship because we ate breakfast there one day and it was so good that we decided to book overnight the next time we came to Crediton. Thank you.

Cons:

Nothing. It was an unpretentious pub. A friendly place to stay.

Room spacious - center of town.
Pros:

Room held 3 beds (only paid for double as we were 2). The accommodation is above the pub, it was not a problem with noise and the same goes for road traffic. We would stay again. There's an overnight parking around the corner.

Cons:

Breakfast not included, could have been an added bonus. We went elsewhere.
