Comfortable hotel room, right in the middle of all Rincon sights (everything is just a 5-10 drive or walk away). Free access to hot springs, waterfalls and natural pools which really makes the room price very acceptable. Extensive breakfast buffet. Two restaurants to choose from (either bigger and busier restaurant that also offers buffet, or smaller and cosier restaurant with Costa Rican regional dishes). Nice pool with jacuzzi.
Nothing in particular
Aliss at reception was very helpful with our park tour and obtaining our passes.
Nothing
Our family was staying in Papagayo Peninsula for a couple weeks and we did a day trip to the Rincon national park and stayed here for just one night - in retrospect I’m very glad we did. The resort has access to wonderful thermal springs, a waterfall to plunge in - and of course the national park (amazing!!).
The rooms (superior queen) were spacious and clean. The restaurant for dinner offered a buffet and it was great - plenty of choice - with a ton of choice. Breakfast (included) was also a hit - honestly the food was very good!!
All staff members we encountered were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Needless to say I’m a big fan of this place and would recommend anytime.
I love the setting of the property and the way it was meticulously maintained. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Our view of the volcano was the icing on the cake. I loved the way everyone was very friendly and accommodating. I appreciate the natural beauty of the property and the wide variety of plant and animal life. The various activities that we participated in such as the hot water springs and mud bath and viewing various springs was such a wonderful experience. Kaylor and Jimmy who worked at the restaurant went above and beyond to make sure our culinary experience was exceptional. Oliver at the horse stables was extremely attentive and patient with my children when preparing to ride the horses. Adrien the van driver provided us with valuable facts on Costa Rica. All in all, my experience at Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin exceeded all expectations.
It was beautiful
It was extremely expensive. The food and drinks were way overpriced
The staff were incredible helpful and caring.
Some bugs and lizard in the room
