Gratteri Resort

The property is beautiful and located in a very small, charming and picturesque village. Although it’s not particularly close to Cefalù and the road to get there isn’t the easiest, the setting itself is lovely and very peaceful.

The room and the property are both very nice, and the views are even better. The service was excellent — everyone was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay.

Overall, we had a very pleasant, relaxing and peaceful stay.

Super Hotelanlage mit sehr freundlichen Personal! Wir haben uns rundum bestens versorgt gefühlt und haben nach ereignisreichen Tagen in Sizilien hier ein paar Tage Ruhe genießen können. Das Frühstück, der Lunch und das Abendessen waren sehr gut!
Die gesamte Hotelanlage ist in sehr gutem Zustand und gepflegt!

Le diner était parfait!
Un point pourrait être amélioré mais c'est très personnel (plus de produits locaux au petit déjeuner et il faut ne pas arriver trop tard car moins de choix).
Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés, le cadre y est magnifique!

L’emplacement, le propriétaire très sympathique, la literie.

Accueil irréprochable - Chambre confortable avec petit mot sympathique sur le lit - Serveur du restaurant (Alessandro) très gentil et bonne recommandation concernant le vin - Petit déjeuner varié - Cadeau d'une bouteille d'huile d'olive à la fin du séjour (hélas reprise à l'aéroport, j'avais pourtant demander confirmation à la dame du Check-up, dommage).

Sehr schöne gepflege Anlage. Sehr freundlicher Empfang von Andrea und Antonio. Die Zimmer waren wirklich sehr geschmackvoll.

Beautiful pool area and room facilities.

Très bon accueil, très chaleureux. Le patron est très gentil et très professionnel. L'endroit est sur un site assez incroyable avec une vue spectaculaire tout au long de la route. La piscine est très appréciable et sa terrasse agréable. Le lit était excellent.

Die Unterkunft liegt auf dem Berg in einem kleinen Ort.
Der Empfang ist herzlich, die Zimmer befinden sich in kleinen zweigeschossigen Häuschen.
Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet.
Das inkludierte Frühstück war gut, außer dass für mich die Brotauswahl etwas gering war. Das ist aber Jammern auf hohem Niveau.
Der Pool war sauber, und es herrschte eine angenehme ruhige Atmosphäre.
Der Weg nach Cefalu geht bergab circa 25-30 Minuten.
Wir haben einen Abend im Hotel gegessen. Das Essen war sehr gut, einen weiteren Tag haben wir in Cefalu zu Abend gegessen.
Hier oben auf dem Berg ist es etwas kühler.
Das stört aber bei 31-35° im Tal wenig.☀️
Wir würden die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen, wenn man ein wenig Ruhe vom Trubel in den umliegenden Orten haben möchte.

Un magnifique hôtel de charme offrant des prestations de grande qualité, notamment une superbe piscine. Le cadre est vraiment splendide avec ses oliviers, offrant une ambiance particulièrement apaisante. L’accueil a été très chaleureux et d'un grand professionnalisme pendant tout le séjour. Le petit-déjeuner était bon, et mention spéciale pour le restaurant de l’hôtel qui était vraiment exceptionnel.

Gratteri Resort is a true hidden gem, tucked away among the rocky mountains and forests of northern Sicily. It is one of those rare places that is difficult to describe because it combines beautiful scenery, peace, atmosphere and a certain kind of magic that you simply have to experience for yourself.

At times, you almost forget that you are in Sicily. With the mountains rising around you and then dropping dramatically towards the sea, there is something almost Alpine about the setting – a little bit of Tyrol or the Allgäu, mixed with the Mediterranean. It is absolutely unique.

Gratteri itself is a fascinating little town built into the rocky mountainside, but the resort sits even higher, away from the town and surrounded by nature. The views are breathtaking – mountains, valleys, the village and the sea in the distance. Just a couple of minutes’ walk further uphill there is another viewpoint with an incredible panorama across the surrounding hills and valleys. It is worth walking up there, especially towards sunset.

And then there is the resort itself. Built into the mountainside on different levels, it consists of a collection of small buildings and rooms connected by little paths and steps. To us, it almost felt like a tiny fairytale village – perhaps a little bit of Notting Hill somehow transported into the Sicilian mountains. The way the buildings have been incorporated into the rocks and landscape completely won me over.

In the evening, when everything is beautifully illuminated and gentle music plays around the property, the atmosphere becomes almost magical.

There are two swimming pools. The water is certainly on the cold side, but after the initial shock it is wonderfully refreshing – good for both body and soul! The entire property is beautifully maintained, and our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed.

But what truly made this place exceptional was the people.

Localització perfecte a un poble petit a dalt de la muntanya a només 30’ de Cefalú. Tot molt autèntic, tranquil i fora de la sensació d’hotel de cadena hotelera. L’espai de piscina és molt agradable i net. L’habitació era espaiosa, renovada i neta. L’esmorzar disposa de bons productes. Per repetir!
