Pleasant, except the bath.
Pros:

Japanese style room small but just as I wanted it.
Not a proper futon but comfortable.
Very convenient next to station and a few eating places.
Staff very friendly, helpful and attentive.
Interesting huge carved Buddhist deity of plenty in lobby a feature.

Cons:

Big public bath was less than big. And it was just luke-warm. Also just one bath. Separating times for males and females was the only way to arrange it fairly, but still inconvenient. Gave up on the non-hot bath.
