The trip to Isola was meaningful, the town is a delight, and I would stay here again!
Pros:

I only had some language issues at times, but I realize I am the one who is out of place. The food was amazing. The accomodations were lovely. The staff was friendly, just language barrier. Really appreciated help getting luggage up to rooms. The view is stunning. The town is so special. This is the town/area of origin of my ancestors based on church records from the early 1700's and the feeling of being in their space was very surreal. Much appreciation!

Cons:

I think we kind of struggled getting up to the hotel, a longer walk and up a pretty steep hill on cobblestones, but we are old.
It became part of the adventure. Getting back down, was much easier! Having someone who spoke English was very helpful.

Pros:

Super Lage als Stop-over auf dem Weg in den Urlaub, sowie toller Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Genau das was wir wollten. Die Zimmer alpin einfach , sehr sauber, Hausmannskost in der Küche , sehr freundliche Bedienung dort. Frühstüch reichhaltig und guter Cappuccino, sehr wichtig :-). Erwartungen voll erfüllt !

Absolutely unpleasant odor in the room. We were given the possibility to change the room. The other room had the same odor.
