Stayed for a Saturday night concert. Rooms were at the back of the pub.
Rooms were not massive but totally adequate. Good modern bathrooms. Ate first night in pub and had breakfast... Both of which were really good.
Most staff quite young but no issues at all.
Location is a 5 minute walk into a small town centre.

An old established inn where both modern conveniences and period features can be enjoyed. We particularly appreciated the timber framing and original features in the charming 1st floor dining room
Service could be better. It's a large pub with both hotel guests and casual visitors so a wait of some minutes for a member of staff to be available for service is not unusual.

Room was small but very clean and comfortable, it also had a wet room (shower was awesome).

Friendliness and efficiency of the staff. Convenient location. Dinner very good. Plenty of hot water.
We had an apartment in another building as opposed to the room I had booked, loads of space but rather bleak, no pictures. Underfloor heating was difficult to regulate. Only one bedside table. Breakfast only one thing off the menu, full English was good but no cereal before or toast after, and no offer of a refill of coffee.
The room and the breakfast was amazing, also the 2 evening meals we had were amazing
Nothing to really put as a negative other that a very small thing as in the digital door look leading to the rooms been a bit temperamental
Poor bed comfort
I used to go to The Cheshire Cat when it was a Nightclub, so it brought back many happy memories. It’s a very old black and white building
We were in the apartments across the road from The Cheshire Cat and on the first floor. No lift.
Location was great and the apartment was spacious and with great facilities
The bathroom was not very clean with many spots of black mould around the tab. Mattress not the most comfortable.
Very friendly helpful staff. Smoked salmon & scrambled egg was superb breakfast cooked to order.

I had a slight problem with the security system accessing the accommodation, but not a deal-breaker.

The Cat is located a short walk from the town centre. So ideally located. Both the rooms and apartments are great. This time I was in a room. Clean and comfortable. I had requested a ground floor room as I was on crutches. This was accomadated without a problem.
Staff are all brilliant and friendly.
It was okay for a one night stay
No room in the carpark meant we had to pay for 24 hour parking nearby. The pub is very noisey in the evening and load nusic late into the night.
