The lagoon pool and location of the hotel were the highlight for us.

Cons:

Bathrooms need an update. Needs a swim up bar in the pool. Hotel staff need to service the guest’s relaxing by the pool more. Service was slow and far between.

Goed hotel, compleet, netjes en mooi opgezet. Dit is een mooie park omgeving dicht bij het strand.
Pros:

Zeer mooi en net resort, alles is netjes en goed onderhouden. Ruim opgezet met veel groen en bloemen. Personeel super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Niet direct aan het strand, de shuttle naar de beachclub gaat echter om het kwartier en is echt max 5 minuten rijden. Beachclub super netjes, inclusief bar, toiletten en douches. Kamer netjes met wel een extreem ruimte badkamer. Het resort ligt in het park gedeelte, dus ook buiten het hotel is alles mooi en groen. Wil duidelijk toeristisch gebied. Bali collection is leuk om even heen te gaan en is 15 minuten lopen, of 5 minuten met de shuttle.

Cons:

Let op bij het boeken van de kamer. Je hebt echt familiekamers die ingesteld zijn op gezinnen. Je kan echter ook de gewone kamer boeken voor 4 personen, het hebt dan alleen maar 1 bed. Staat uiteindelijk wel ergens op de site vermeld, hebben wij overheen gelezen. Hotel checkt dit niet en dan sta je raar te kijken als je incheckt met 2 volwassen en 2 kinderen (11 en 13). Uiteindelijk mbv personeel er 2 extra bedden in gepropt, normaal doen ze dat niet en helaas hierdoor extra kosten.

Feedback gegeven dat ze hier iets mee moeten (boeking niet toestaan, of hierop checken en je informeren). Wat ze ermee gaan doen is de vraag, dus wees gewaarschuwd.

I appreciate the lovely staff in Novotel hotel who have been very kind and helpful during our stay
Pros:

access to the beach was easy with the shuttles and frequency of travel schedule
Breakfast area and service was good. staff were very helpful and area was very clean
We had our room upgraded which was excellent and give us more room for our 8 days stay

Cons:

The available options for breakfast was not great. Bread section was messy with not a very practical toaster ,,, with half of guest used to western breakfast, the bread station needs improvement ,,, limited Jam type and more of bulk , similar for butter
we got our room upgraded but the room was not ready when we arrived. we had to wait for staff to come and change the sofa for kids to sleep and it was a bit painful at 2am.

Pros:

had a 2 bedroom apartment, very large and comfortable.

Cons:

Check in is labourious exlaining too many doscounts for this and that, why don;t they just lower prices for guests, It felt at check in that everything was geared towards line managers trying to boost their own business. Fine, but guests don;t care. I don;t need a discount in a cafe if I attend a time share hard sell. Or a discount in a restaurant that has so many exceptions it's not worth listening to.
Problems weith tv, leaking toilet were not handled well at all, multiple requests needed to be made. And then I get a free credit for a pizza which means I need to spend other money for kids at the cafe at inflated prices.
This place does not have 5 star service. and starting to feel run down
