I was upgraded to a king room. It was a good value for the price.
A person in the room above me stomped on the floor walking around in the middle of the night. I’m not sure what one can do about that but that’s why I down graded the facility itself.
Clean, comfy bed, courteous, friendly and helpful staff. Close to city amenities but a little removed so it was pretty quiet.
Also appreciate the Aveda shampoo, body wash and cream.

We loved our room! Both the size and bed comfort. The on-site free parking was amazing as well. There is also a free laundry room in the hotel with multiple washers and dryers, which was quite convenient.
Unfortunately, there was no gym in the hotel, and the street it's on is pretty busy and noisy, so opening windows isn't a great option most of the time. The shower head was also quite weird and not that useful.
The location is wonderful allowing people to explore and enjoy the local neighborhoods full of restaurants & coffee shops as well as small boutiques and shops featuring local designers. Parking was great and free on site and the area was quiet at night. The restaurant at the hotel has breakfast, lunch and dinner with a nice selection as well as a full bar. The staff were great and the rooms were kept very clean throughout.
The only thing that we had an issue with was a problem with the in-room safe. We stayed for three days and used it with no problem for the first two days, then on the third day upon returning to our room in the afternoon, we couldn’t open the safe and kept getting an error message even though we were entering the correct code. The only person who could have taken care of opening the safe was not working and nobody had any idea how to open the safe. Our small computer as well as charging cables for our phones were in the safe and we were leaving early the next morning to the airport to return home so we were extremely worried. Eventually they were able to get a hold of that person who walked them through locating the device needed to access the safe, and walked them through the process to open it. The property needs to have someone on hand 24/7 that is trained to be able to handle this situation because it could happen anytime. We were so relieved and thankful that the staff was able to get this resolved for us. We’re confident they will implement something to mitigate this from occurring again.

The first night we were in the room there was a stain on the fitted sheet, the coffee supplies for were depleted and there was a light bulb burned out over the vanity. I mentioned this the next day to the front desk. I completed my day and returned to the room for my second night stay. There was a message on the machine from the manager wanting to make some amends for the state of the room. Since I was just informing staff of the rooms conditions and not wanting to get comped for anything I just didn't answer the message.
The next day I went to the restaurant and had breakfast. The bill including tip came to $19.00. I paid with a debit card and proceeded to check out of the room. I was again reminded of the staff wanting to make amends for the state of the room. Again, I told them that was not necessary.
Later that day I received a message from the manager on my cell phone letting me know they had picked up the tab on my breakfast and was refunding the $19.00 to me. I figured this would be the end of the ordeal, but no.
I returned home and went into my banking app to catch up my checking balance. I noticed the original charge for $19.00 and another charge for $19.00 from the hotel. Instead of crediting back my original $19.00 they charged me again. I contacted the telephone number for the chain. They stated they couldn't help me and suggested I contact the local motel directly. The operator had the number that he read to me but couldn't connect me because they didn't have to ability to do that.
I made contact again with the front desk and was transferred to the manager. Again the manager explained to me that he had indeed credited the original $19.00 back to me and explained how crediting a debit back can take several days. I completed the telephone conversation and waited a few days.
I checked back and found that the 2nd change had indeed been removed from my bank account, but the original change remained. I figured "good enough".

We love the location, easy to get to and easy exit. We love the location and walking the blocks of 23rd and 21st, lots of amenitities.
Our room was large and very comfortable. It was great to have access to a laundry and to free parking. The hotel is in easy walking distance to restaurants and the shops in Nob Hill. We ate twice at the in house restaurant and enjoyed the meals. In fact we enjoyed our experience so much we stayed an extra night.
Because we extended our stay, there was some confusion when paying the bill.
Location, staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. The lobby restaurant was excellent too.
