Pros:

Fijn verblijf gehad in dit gemoedelijke hotel! De locatie is ideaal—omringd door natuur en op korte rijafstand van het centrum van Porlezza en het Meer van Lugano. Half uurtje fietsen naar Menaggio aan het Comomeer. Het personeel is ontzettend gastvrij. De kamers zijn proper en de bedden liggen heerlijk. Het ontbijt is ruim en goed geregeld en de avondmaaltijden in het restaurant zijn eveneens een aanrader. Prima prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Ideaal als uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen of als doorreishotel!"

Freundliches Personal.Das Zimmer hatte Küchenausstattung dabei.Handtücher müssen extra bezahlt werden,fand ich suspekt.Eigentlich wollten wir zu dritt fahren, somit brauchte zum Glück keiner auf der Couch ( die war schmuddelig abgeranzt ) zu schlafen!Der Spiegel im Bad war kaputt, also nicht nur ein Riss, nein es haz sogar ein Stück gefehlt!Verletzungsgefahr!!!Das sollte mal behoben werden.Das Geschirr in den Schränken ( Gläser ) waren verdreckt,daraus wollten wir nicht trinken.Es gab keine Möglichkeit diese zu reinigen,dann hätte ich erst in den Supermarkt fahren müssen und Lappen u Reiniger holen.Wir hatten keinen Luxus erwartet, aber runtergeranzt muß auch nicht sein.Das abgebildete Frühstücksbuffet gibt es nicht.Man hat einen Zettel liegen,worauf man ankreuzen kann was man möchte, in Englisch und Italienisch.Somit sieht man nicht was man möchte.Die Croissant waren sehr lecker, aber der Früchtekorb....naja.Birne und Apfel so hart,das man es kaum essen konnte.Parkplatzsituation...naja.Man könnte mitten in der engen Gasse parken,oder etwas ab auf einem unteren Parkplatz.War also ok.Feuermeldeanlagen in den Zimmern fehlen auch gänzlich,ich kenne sowas als Standard?

Wer also nur rein übernachten möchte,ok.Für mehr Komfort sollte man dann doch woanders übernachten.Im Restaurant kann man relativ gut essen,Preise gingen auch.Statt Kaffee bekam ich einen Espresso,aber das war auch ok.Hat zumindest geschmeckt.

Cons:

Möbel sehr runter geranzt.Im Treppenhaus sollte man sich auch nicht genauer umschauen, neben unsere Tür hatte sich scheinbar mal jemand hinübergeben 🫣.Wände ziemlich hellhörig,als ob man im gleichen Zimmer steht.

Einfache preiswerte Zimmer in Hotel - Restaurant
Pros:

Der Checkin war problemlos, hatten vom Balkon aus auch einen Blick auf die Berge. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung.
Es gibt keinen Aufzug, das sollte man wissen. Zum See ist es nur eine kurze Strecke, dort kann man auch schön spazieren gehen.

Cons:

Die Zimmer- Ausstattung ist sehr einfach, bei uns funktionierte die Klimaanlage leider nicht und es fehlte an einigen Equipments, wie einem Spiegel oder Eimer im Badezimmer. Das Badezimmer war sehr klein und beengt.
Parkplätze für Hotel- Gäste direkt am Hotel waren nicht viele vorhanden, dort standen dann Lieferwagen oder Autos der Gäste des Restaurants. Vielleicht müsste das mal anders ausgeschildert werden. Restaurant -Gäste könnten auch mal ein paar Meter vom größeren Parkplatz laufen, Hotelgäste müssen jedoch ihre Koffer ein- und ausladen.

am Fusse von tollen kleinen Berg-Dörfli gelegen
Pros:

Nettes Personal und feines Frühstück, wenn man nach Fleisch fragt (was etwas versteckt angeschrieben ist ;-)

Cons:

Der Aufpreis für ein Balkonzimmer mit Sonne lohnt auf jeden Fall ... wir hatten leider auf der schattigen Seite gebucht.

Gute Alternative zu teuren Hotels direkt am Comer See
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt idyllisch zwischen zwei Seen, in einem ruhigen, kleinen Ort mit beeindruckenden und prachtvollen Kirchen. Das Zimmer war schlicht, aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet und wurde täglich gereinigt. Das Personal war stets sehr freundlich. Auch der Hotelbesitzer zeigte sich zuvorkommend und ging professionell mit meiner kleinen Reklamation um. Das Essen im Hotel Restaurant war ausgezeichnet und zudem sehr preiswert. Insgesamt ist das Hotel auf jeden Fall eine empfehlenswerte Alternative zu den deutlich teureren Unterkünften direkt am Comer See.
