I liked my room was looking over a lovely garden and fish pond and surrounded by trees. Staff were lovely. My cup was very cute. Parking on the doorstep was a bonus. I also liked that the station was so close by going through the underpass on my bike.
I liked that I was met by a person, not a keybox.
Very conveniently located for the train station and only a 15 minute walk into Dunkeld. Nice quiet street and the room we had was tucked away in a peaceful courtyard.
Access was very easy and we got good instructions from the host. We didn't get to meet then but communication was good via message.
Kitchen was well equipped and had the basics (oil, salt and pepper etc) which is always appreciated as many places don't bother adding this in.
Bed was comfy and the shower pressure was great. Nice to have shower gel etc available too. Very clean all round too.
Overall really enjoyed our stay and would quite happily have stayed longer than one night!
Very minor but the shower tray filled up quite quickly and ended up spilling onto the bathroom floor. I imagine the drain is just a bit clogged.
The double bed was two single beds together and they were both very different mattress types - one was very firm and the other very soft. I guess it was good to have the option between me and my partner but the difference between them was quite big. But it didn't affect our stay really and we'd gladly stay again.
The communication with Hilary was 2nd to none. The location is prefect, the room was tidy, clean and just wonderful. I loved it so much, I've booked again next week.

Wonderful location near the river and Birnam Wood. Plus great coffee across the road. And even a book store. Nice outdoor space. Reasonable price. Excellent communication. Even let us know that we didn’t have to hurry to check out due to a cancellation.
Kitchen facilities a bit minimal. But impressive for the space.
