This hotel was a good base, walking distance into town about 15/20 mins, downhill so bear in mind up hill on your way back.
The hotel is very clean & our room was spacious. But we were very shocked to find there was no aircon or ceiling fan! The rm was so so hot…. We called reception to be told to open a window to let fresh air in… we just could not sleep with the heat we complained & was eventually given a fan.
There was no other pillows so only super soft ones which were bad for our necks. 5 star would normally have other choices.
WiFi hardly ever worked it was terrible.
The cleaners were very good & polite.
The groundskeeper was lovely
The breakfast was nice but staff definitely need more training….
Sadly some breakfast staff were rude & talked about you in front of you… especially the older women who made me feel very uncomfortable & blatantly pulled faces & talked to staff about us.
The evening meal wasn’t the best
We loved our stay in this area but the hotel was very expensive for what it is & wouldn’t stay again.
Horrible!! No Air Conditioning, just "open the windows" on 85 degree days which consisted of a 2-inch gap at the top of 2 windows (no breeze); and/or to open the door in the main room which let in a parade of cockroaches, beetles mosquitoes, flies etc. Gross!! On the second night finally got one tiny fan but our daughter never got one in her room. Refrigerator almost caught fire and had to be replaced 3 times and never worked. The wifi is terrible and could not do any video calls at all. For $800 a night you expect and deserve more and management made no accommodation or offer or even apology. I never write reviews but this was horrible. Run away!!
מלון מושלם מכל הבחינות - ניקיון, אוכל, שירות, אווירה ומיקום.
צוות מאוד אדיב ומקצועי עם תודעת שירות גבוהה.

We loved this hotel! The decor was gorgeous and our room was huge, with a great view of the mountains. Service was great, everyone from the front desk to the bartender to the dining staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the outdoor pool, as well as the indoor pool and the saunas. The hotel had live music, which was great. It was about a 20 minute walk from here to downtown Ortisei, which was slightly long coming back uphill, but it was actually really nice being away from the tourist crowds. There is also a bus you can take. We stayed for four nights and I wish it had been longer! Warning for other Americans- you have to be naked in the sauna, which honestly isn't my favorite, but this is pretty common in Germany and this is a German area of Italy.
The location is good. The facilities are very good. Hotel is very clean and well decorated (if you like gold, leather and crushed velvet). The spa manager in particular is excellent.
This should not be classed as a 5 star hotel. It was expensive - in line with other 5 star hotels in the area - and was therefore a great disappointment. The staff were friendly but just aren't trained properly to provide the service expected at a 5 star hotel. One of the main summer activities in the area is hiking but reception staff were unable to offer any advice at all. Our room, on the top floor, was unbearably hot at night night - surely a 5 star hotel would have air-conditioning.
Everything was perfect! The hotel is very beautiful, with huge, clean rooms, the wellness is beyond expectations! The restaurant is varied and meets all needs, the staff is very kind.
‘Some staff lovely’ reception, chap in gym/spa. Young bar chap. One of chaps at breakfast made some effort and warmed up throughout our stay.
I liked walking up the hill to the hotel after dinner in Ortisei.
Views breathtaking. Stunning area.
A few things were simply unacceptable for a 5 start hotel.
No different pillows - I have a bad neck and this was exacerbated by only soft pillows in the room.
NO AIR CONDITIONING - some nights we didn’t sleep due to the heat. A fan was provided which helped.
Staff at breakfast. Sadly my wife caught the older lady bitching to other staff about customers including my wife a few times which is completely unacceptable for a 5 start hotel and makes you feel uncomfortable.
It was a slightly poor start as we booked for 12 nights and needed to change to 10 as our plans had changed.
The response was a very firm you can reduce to 10 but still pay the same. Wow - even a gentler delivery may have helped soften the blow.
Some really good things including some lovely friendly people.
Suggestion is to train all staff to maintain consistent high standards given how you market yourselves. Get aircon.
Incredible restaurant - breakfast and dinner were unmatched, so may options. Staff very attention, room excellent, love the spa
No aircon
We hiked in, but there is a bus stop out the front with regular "free with the room" local buses so access is very good. Our room was huge, came with a "mountain view" which was true, we could see the top 1/3rd of Sassolungo from the balcony. Perhaps not so impressive a view after hiking around it the day before. Breakfast was great and the spa area was good too. A comfortable stay but probably should have booked a couple of nights and made sure we could book one of the couples spa treatments before paying.
Not being able to book massage at time of booking, tried to, but hotel wasn't interested 2 months out from date. So that was a bit disappointing as we weren't able to book a couples package like we had hoped as they didn't have enough staff on the day. A bit expensive, fancy to the point of being a bit kitschy, especially after hiking and mountain hotels. It wasn't any more comfortable or better service than any of our other hotel stays in the mountains. The owner had a rather loud discussion with one of guests whilst we were enjoying our room, which did spoil the mood for a few moments.
Room size was good
Food was good
Staff were friendly
Lack of regular maintenance. Our room had not been opened for a while - and no maintenance checks were done. The sink was broken. To have it fixed we had to push the property.

Tout est top
Vaut un trois étoiles
The service was great as were the facilities, location and food.
Only drawback was no air conditioning or fan in the bedroom. It was very hot.
I had a wonderful stay at Alpin Garden Luxury Maison & Spa. Everything was perfect – the hotel, the room, the spa, and the staff were all excellent. I especially appreciated being able to check in at 9:00 AM because my room was already available. It was such a nice surprise after my journey. I would happily stay here again!
Bra frokost. Fine fasiliteter.
