The hotel is set in a quant little street set back from the main road. They had a small, separate parking garage and secure gates into a cobbled square. The rooms were nice, all be it a little on the smaller side. The staff member who helped us was great, but she was alone to run the place by herself which meant she was stretched a bit thin. SHe helped us with a problem on arrival, where one of our rooms AC was malfunctioning, and she ultimately moved some of our party to accomodate. The locations great, with restaurants tucked away in quiet and quant locations nearby; and an easy walk down to the river and the roman arch.
Not much wrong with it but they were a little weird about the parking garage, saying we should have reserved it. I think it was just a misunderstanding about the way this was presented - since I really thought I had expressed this preference albeit through booking.com, there was no additional option to book parking separate to the rooms themselves. The poor young lady behind the desk was like a 1 woman show and she was very nice, helpful but could have benefited from support.
