A great place to stay in Talalla.
Pros:

Garden Villa is s lovely place to stay, only a few moments walk from the beautiful and unspoilt Talalla beach.

Gaby and her staff are very friendly, warm and welcoming and looked after me extremely well during my 6 week stay.

I was volunteering for a local charity with variable start times and they were very accommodating by putting on an early hearty breakfast for me every day, which included the most the amazing fruit platter!

My room was spacious, well equipped and very clean with a quiet balcony overlooking the pool and beautiful garden, which is full of lovely tropical plants and flowers. A very peaceful place to sit and relax in.

Diva and Lucky, the two labradors, were very friendly too, always happy to see me, giving me a very warm welcome whenever I returned.

Nothing was too much trouble to make my stay as comfortable as possible and I highly recommend Garden Villa as a great place to stay. I hope to return again one day.

Pros:

Gabby was very warm and welcoming, making our stay feel truly special. Diva and Lucky - the on-site canine security - were a highlight for us as a family of dog lovers. The location, rooms, restaurant were all perfect - would definitely recommend!

Great place with two big dogs
Pros:

Super Nice lokation, great pool, lovely garden. The best reflexology massage ever! Rooms are clean and spacious.

Cons:

This place is only great IF you are a dog person. The two dogs are very big and persistent. However, they are very friendly dogs

Oase, ein paar Schritte vom Strand entfernt!

This was my second stay here and it was nice to revisit.
Pros:

Good breakfast, the yoga terrace and spa area. Super close to the beautiful beach. A great check in and very spacious room. Lovely host/owner.

Cons:

That the assistant lady was a bit rude when the monkeys took something from my balcony which kind of ruined sunrise beach walk. No response whenever I messaged on WhatsApp.

The villa is just a few steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches .
Pros:

We spent four nights in a spacious and nice ground-floor room with a small terrace facing the pool. Gaby the host, is incredibly kind and helpful, we felt at home right away.

Cons:

nothing, we highly recommend both the accommodation and the setting. As yoga enthusiasts, we took daily yoga classes at the next door Yoga Retreat during our stay at Gaby's property, which was a perfect match for us.

Pros:

Ruhige Lage in Strandnähe, großes Zimmer mit Minibar (!) was bei der abgeschiedenen Lage hilfreich ist. Kleiner Minimarkt um die Ecke. Schöner Pool! SPA im Haus.

Cons:

Nur wenige Restaurants in der Nähe.

Go there and you will like it
Pros:

This accommodation is very cool and I highly recommend it. The staff and the owner Gaby are great. The dogs Lucki and Diva became our great friends :)

Cons:

We were there for one week and that is clearly too short a time to be there :)

Pros:

Perfect location for families - their level of service in general is top! Breakfast choice is very broad (what is not always the case in Srilanka) - and the pool can rescue your day when Talalla waves are too big for your kids.

Great place to stay, very relaxing!
Pros:

The staff are amazing, really friendly. We had a lovely room by the pool which was cleaned beautifully every day. Breakfast was a varied fruit plate and we chose an omelette each morning which was delicious.Paid extra for specialist coffee, but reasonably priced.The two dogs are friendly and caused no issues. Very close to the beach.

Cons:

Flies around at breakfast.

Pros:

Gutes Frühstück, unter deutscher Leitung weiß man hier, was der Tourist gerne hat. :-)

Gepflegte Zimmer mit guter Ablagemöglichkeit, und Schrank mit Kleiderbügeln , Sitzecke, Balkon mit Relaxstuhl
Deutsch ist auch die Hundeliebe.
Tägliche Reinigung der Zimmer mit vielen schönen Handtüchern, für Pool und Bad
Toller Garten mit Pool

Wirklich funktionsfähiges Moskitonetz, ordentlich groß.

Alleinreisende Damen fühlen sich hier auch sehr wohl.

Nachmittags kann man sich auch italienisch verwöhnen lassen.

Die Bushaltestelle ist vorne an der Hauptstraße , die Busse fahren häufig in beide Richtungen, so braucht man nicht die etwas überteuerten Tuktuks vor der Türe (Pick me an die Hauptstraße bestellen, klappt prima)
Das Bäckertuktuk kommt auch hier vorbei.

Cons:

wirklich italienische Küche, etwas teuerer als sonst . Wir haben sie leider nur einmal genutzt, da uns die beiden, ganz lieben großen Hunde deutlich zu aufdringlich am Tisch waren.

Die Gummimatte im Bett (wir haben sie entfernt )

Der Dieselgenerator des Nachbarhotels läuft leider zu viel.

Es kommen 3% Gebühr auf die Kreditkartenzahlung, das wussten wir nicht.

Für uns war es nach fast 4 Wochen Sri Lanka Rund Reise nicht die passende Adresse, für viele andere, vielleicht die absolut richtige Wahl, mit Luxus den es nicht überall gibt.

Très bien pour une halte farniente
Pros:

Emplacement exceptionnel à deux pas de la plage ! Piscine calme et chambre spacieuse.
Deux chiens sur place qui sont devenus les meilleurs amis de notre bébé (bien qu’ils peuvent être un peu encombrants).
On recommande la méditation avec Valeska!

Cons:

Un peu cher.
Si vous vous faites masser au spa; demandez la masseuse du spa et non quelqu’un de l’extérieur (surtout pour de la réflexologie).

Pros:

Gabi ist unglaublich herzlich, hilfsbereit und kümmert sich toll um einen. Man hat das Gefühl, dort nicht allein zu sein (auch als Alleinreisende). Alles ist toll ausgestattet und mit viel Liebe zum Detail arrangiert! :)
