Très bien situé pour visiter Topsham à pied. Ambiance très sympathique
Pros:

Très bon accueil malgré une arrivée tardive. Nous nous sommes perdus et avions renenu une table pour le dîner. Nous avons eu la bonne surprise de pouvoir manger quand même et échange très sympathique avec le barman pour nous remettre de nos émotions. Merci encore !

Definitely recommend the place to anyone and the staff had been very well trained, the best we have

The room was excellent.
The meals in the restaurant were excellent.

Cons:

The breakfast lay out was not as good as it could have been. We had to ask for side plates to
put toast on. No where on the tables to put hot used tea bags into.

Clean, comfortable and pleasant staff.
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable. A fan provided welcome relief from the warm weather.

Let's say - I'd go there again. I am in my 70's, alone, and I felt safe and comfortable.
Pros:

It was all fine. Very good that they provided a shower non-slip mat on request.

Cons:

Wi-fi reception is very poor. I believe that they are in the process of improving it.

Staff very helpful room was very clean bed was comfortable,down side due to the very hot weather we didn't have a good night's sleep, not the hotels fault and I'm totally not in any way blaming they hotel but I guess due to health and safety and age of the building the window only opened a little bit so no fresh air came in it was so hot I would definitely say the room was in need of a fridge in tea and coffee was supplied but in my opinion they should also have left water in the room,as we had nothing to drink all, and yes it was our fault but for the cost of the room I don't think this is a lot to ask for. On the plus side a small fan was in the room but it made little difference, room was very clean, bed was comfortable bathroom was in and clean. Breakfast was really good very tasty.

No air con in the room and definitely needs a fridge in the room, and bottles of water.

Do not recommend. Overpriced with terrible service.

The bed was comfortable

Cons:

​Unless you have no other choice, do not stay here. The rooms were boiling hot with no aircon (just a small fan), no complimentary drinking water, and no towels in the bathroom when we arrived, we had to ask for them at reception.
​On top of that, they charged £25 for early key collection and forced a 10:30 AM checkout despite advertising 12:00 PM online. When challenged, the staff blamed Booking.com, complained about only having two cleaners, and called me rude for asking them to update their terms. Unprofessional management and a very poor experience overall.
