What a fabulous place! Delicious welcome cake, super comfy bed, great decor and a lovely chilled vibe.
The owners were lovely and the location is really close to the sea front. Such a bargain too.

Pros:

We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment, but the owners were incredibly helpful throughout the booking process (we were going to bring our dog but didn't in the end and needed a parking space). The room we had was fairly small but was all we needed. Particularly nice was having fresh milk in the small fridge in the room. along with the fridge in the hallway that held spare milk and chilled fresh water (especially welcome given the ongoing heatwave). The place was perfectly located for exploring the best that Babbacombe has to offer.

poor nights sleep due to Mattress
Pros:

Location..finish of main entrance, key safe instructions, tea making facilities, cold water..

Cons:

Main let down was 1x bed...Very uncomfortable..
Uneven (worn out?) Mattress.
Bad nights sleep..aching back by morning.

We went for 4 night break ! Unfortunately my hubby (dementia) didn’t settle to good ! Again no one’s fault 😞
Pros:

Unfortunately we went in heatwave so hot in rooms owners had put fans in room so that was good !
I think a better review in normal weather!.

Cons:

As above hot hot not the owner’s fault! Think rooms a bit small

Excellent pit stop in Babbacombe.
Pros:

Interesting space where the owners are obviously going above and beyond to try and create something interesting and unique. Very nice owners, super helpful and very attentive. It was ridiculously hot and they had a fan and cooler stack in the bedroom. These people care about their customer experience and deserve to succeed.

Pros:

Babbacombe Rooms is an excellent place to stay. The whole property is immaculately clean and comfortable, with great attention to detail throughout. Luce and Bec are fantastic hosts — friendly, caring, and always ready to help, which creates a warm and relaxed atmosphere.The location is ideal: only a short distance from the beach and the promenade, making it easy to enjoy seaside walks, local cafés, and everything the area has to offer.A wonderful stay with wonderful people — highly recommended.

Pros:

Great hosts! Super friendly and gave clear instructions for seamless self check in. Lovely, well presented reception / lounge area & a really nice touch with complimentary refreshments & sweet treats. Loved the decorations! Rooms were immaculate. Easy to contact & met all our needs! Great location. Had a really pleasant stay. Exceeded expectations!

The closeness to the bus stop.

Cons:

I always request a room with a walk-in shower as I am disabled. The room had a bath with overhead shower which I couldn't reach. Toiletries if you had forgotten them were in a drawer on the landing not in the room. Same applied to milk for drinks.
