Lovely hotel in a fantastic location
Pros:

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location. My room was perfectly appointed with everything I needed and the hotel car park just round the corner was a real benefit as the on street parking fills up quickly. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming; couldn’t fault the service at all. The breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice and option to tailor for individual preferences. I’ll definitely be returning, it’s a great place to be based from when exploring the northern parts of Northumberland

Excellent 2 night stay in stunning Bamburgh
Pros:

Small but well equipped room and bathroom. Great breakfast. Lovely bar showing sports. Good menu in nice restaurant. Easy safe off road parking. Excellent friendly staff.

Pros:

Friendly staff, good food and a great location virtually opposite of the Bamburgh Castle.

Cons:

The room was a bit shabby, smelly and creeky. The carpet was smudgy. The room was very warm and when you opened a window you were in kitchen smells.

Reasonable, the stairs are too much and I would look at alternatives next time we are in Bamburgh.
Pros:

There was parking, albeit 100yds away.

Cons:

To get to our room we had to climb five sets of stairs. There is no lift and no-one offered to help with our cases. Just going up and down then five or six times a day was enough to leave you breathless. This is the main issue we had although over all we did not we had had particularly good value for money, considering the price of staying here.

A lovely break in a beautiful part of the country.
Pros:

The room was lovely with a view of the castle. The bathroom was superb with a great shower. Nice to have not only tea/coffee facilities but an iron + board too.

Cons:

We felt that the evening meals were a little expensive.
