Pros:

Vorab: Wir waren die ersten Gäste nach der Übernahme durch einen neuen Manager und die Angestellten hatten nur drei Tage Zeit, um alles auf Vordermann zu bringen.
Schönes, großes und geräumiges Chalet mit eigenem kleinen Pool und abenteuerlichem Außen Nassbereich (Ja, die Toilette und die Dusche waren im Freien).
Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und stets bemüht uns Neues zu zeigen (Jackfruit Ernte, Okra Ernte, wir durften in der Küche mithelfen).
Die Lage war etwas außerhalb von Dambulla und dadurch sehr ruhig, direkt an einem See gelegen und trotz der Nähe zum Wasser waren keine Moskitos unterwegs.
Wir würden gerne wiederkommen.

Cons:

Wie oben schon erwähnt, hatten der Manager und die Angestellten nur drei Tage Zeit, um sich um das Anwesen zu kümmern. Daher waren einige Dinge noch nicht so, wie sie sein sollten. Diverse Punkte haben wir beim Manager vermerkt, der das Feedback sehr positiv aufgenommen hat und wir denken, er wird das auch umsetzen.
Der Pool war nicht wirklich sauber, wurde mehrmals aufbereitet, recht sauber wurde er nicht.
Im Bad müssten einige Sachen getauscht werden. Außerdem hatten wir oft kein Wasser.
Die Unterkunft hat definitiv Potenzial.

Enorm potentieel, prachtige locatie, supervrienelojk personeel maar nog beetje werk om hier opnieuw topverblijf van te m

Super vriendelijk personeel dat alle moeite deed om ons te helpen. Prachtige ligging in het bos met zicht op een meer.

Cons:

Recent overgenomen en vorige eigenaars lieten het verkommeren. Er is enorm potentieel en de nieuwe eigenaar doet zijn best maar heeft nog veel werk om hier opnieuw een topverblijf van te maken. Tijdens ons verblijf was ons zwembadje leeg, werkte de wifi niet, hadden we electriciteitspannes en is de wellness nog niet/niet meer actief. De eigenaar bracht ons wel met zijn eigen auto naar een massage in de buurt.

A beautiful property with so much potential in the right hands.

We loved the serenity & quietness

Cons:

Too far from Dambulla. Also they need to review their advertising on booking.com because it is not accurate. No hot water first 2 days. They really could make the place so much better. Having to ask for fresh towels, a room clean & toilet paper during a 6 night stay was pretty slack. Also breakfast on the first day was fantastic but as the days went by it was less impressive.

De natuur en je had een hele grote mooie accommodatie voor jezelf met zwembad en goede wifi!

Niks te eten? Ontbijt was ook niet super dus kun je niet teveel van verwachten

Honden in de badkamer; werd niets aan gedaan. Smerig.

De kamer was ruim en mooi

Cons:

Niet goed schoongemaakt. In de buitenbadkamer liepen honden rond die door het hek kropen. Overal wc papier en troep. Pas na herhaald vragen schoongemaakt. Ondanks belofte werd het hek niet gerepareerd zodat er iedere dag honden in de badkamer zaten. Heel smerig en abominabel slechte service.
De in de advertentie aangekondige wellness was er helemaal niet.
Om schone handdoeken en drinkwater moest je vragen en dan kwam het pas na uren.
Vriendelijk personeel dat er helaas niets van bakte.

While beautiful rooms, you may prefer something more established to stay in.
Pros:

The rooms themselves were lovely and generally very comfortable with plenty of space, views and the outdoor bathrooms amazing.
The villa with private pools were great and provided the only pools on the premises.
Staff provided breakfast to order with local options.

Cons:

Not all the beds were made and rooms not wholly clean, including mould on the toilet seat, some spider webs in the bathroom.
Outside the rooms, the hotel is very rustic which could deter many people.

Pros:

If, as it states, you are looking for somewhere off the beaten track, then this is your place.
The service given was 110%, and the chalet was absolutely lovely, in beautiful location in a mango plantation. Pasindu was your perfect host, with nothing being too much trouble.

Cons:

The kitchen isn't really a kitchen, BUT you could chill your water!

Beeindruckende und komfortable Lodge mitten in der Natur mit großer Terrasse. Tolle Gastgeber, die einem jeden Wunsch erfüllen. Trotz Dauerregen war der Aufenthalt sehr relaxt und das singhalesische Essen war das beste meines Urlaubs.

Un véritable coup de cœur !
Pros:

La villa est superbe : spacieuse, décorée avec goût, avec une immense salle de bain extérieure, une piscine privée magnifique et un cadre naturel très calme au cœur de la forêt, avec singes et oiseaux en visite.
La personne qui s’est occupée de nous a été incroyable du début à la fin : d’une gentillesse rare, toujours aux petits soins, et la cuisine (petit déjeuner comme dîner) était absolument délicieuse.
Un séjour parfait, que nous recommandons sans aucune hésitation.

Außergewöhnliche Wohlfühloase
Pros:

Sehr schön gelegene Bungalows unmittelbar im Dschungel. Sehr ruhig, umgeben von toller Vegetation. Zu unserem Bungalow "Muladhra" gehörte ein kleiner Pool. Die Inneneinrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet.
Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und hilfreich, aber dezent zurückhaltend. Massageangebote können wahrgenommen werden. Die Ausführung ist sehr gut. Preis-Leistungsangebot ist super.

Cons:

Die Anlage liegt etwas außerhalb, was aber durch eine schnelle Verfügbarkeit von Taxi oder Tuk Tuk kein großes Problem darstellt.

Precioso, buena ubicación.
Pros:

El hotel está en medio de la jungla pero al lado de los templos de Dambulla y muy cerca de Sigiriya. La habitación y el espacio eran preciosos. El personal super atento y amable. Los desayunos (especialmente el típico de Sri Lanka) riquísimos, además nos lo preparo a la hora que necesitábamos para luego ir a Sigiriya.
Teníamos tuktuk propio para llegar pero a Sigiriya fuimos con PickMe y desde el Templo Dorado dimos un paseo a la vuelta.

Cons:

Al estar rodeados de naturaleza tuvimos visitas de ranitas que poblaban la ducha, pero esto es normal. Las piscinas estaban junto a otras habitaciones al otro lado de la carretera y no estaban muy limpias.

Quiet comfortable place
Pros:

If you want a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle and just be surrounded by nature and its sounds then this is the place for you. We saw lots of animals just by sitting on the first room of our house.

Definitely One of the best places we stayed at in Sri Lanka at our 2 week trip. Booked it on the day and were able to come and drop our bags off early and return later to properly check in. The staff are very polite and helpful. They’re also Very responsive and can’t do enough to help.
The beds are comfortable and spacious and the whole place is kept clean. They sell beers and wine too 👌🏽

Breakfast was delicious and filling and the kids enjoyed the pool. Just nearby runs a river where elephants visit often (during the night mainly) but you can see the evidence during the day 😅

Cons:

Just Some minor repairs needed

Some of the shutters were broken

One of the toilet roll holders was broken

A side table attached to the wall was also a little lose.

Very easy to fix and so shouldn’t go overlooked.
